In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Matej is a BSc in electrical engineering and an MSc in mechanical engineering. He is interested in energy management, energy resources, smart grids, and smart cities. In his free time, he likes to gravel bike, skateboard, and listen to podcasts and music. His passion is reusing old skateboards and turning them into new products.

Tajka Selan

Industrial Pharmacyst

Tajka holds a master's degree in industrial pharmacy. She used to work extensively in marketing while simultaneously following her passion for educating people about cosmetology and skincare in an understandable manner. Her passion project evolved into Cosmedoc, the first Slovenian professional cosmetics blog. She co-authored "Živjo, lepa koža", the first Slovenian book on cosmetics and skincare.

Tina Hostnik

Graduate choral conductor

Tina is a graduate choral conductor. She mostly works as a conductor of choirs, of which she currently leads five. She founded three of these choirs herself. Her life revolves heavily around music, she loves to sing, play the piano and organ.

Ula is a graduated fashion designer with experience in working on TV shows and series. She is also a licensed tennis coach.

Zala Brajnik

Young researcher at University of Ljubljana

Zala is a young researcher at the University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty at the chair for genetics, animal biotechnology, and immunology at the Department for Zootechnics. Her research is based on cellular models for examining genetic factors of immune resistance of dairy glands of ruminants to clarify the role of genes in immune pathways.
