In our first TEDxWilmingtonSalon of 2023, we will explore Health and Wellness. Health and wellness are important for many reasons, including:

Quality of Life: Good health and wellness enable individuals to live a high-quality life, free from physical and mental illnesses. It enables individuals to engage in activities they enjoy, be productive at work, and maintain positive relationships with others.

Prevention of Diseases: Taking care of your health and wellness can help prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. By maintaining a healthy lifestyle, individuals can reduce their risk of developing these conditions and promote longevity.

Mental Health: Mental health is an integral part of overall health and wellness. Taking care of one's mental health through practices such as mindfulness, meditation, and therapy can improve overall well-being and reduce the risk of mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety.

Productivity: Good health and wellness enable individuals to be more productive at work and in their personal lives. By maintaining a healthy lifestyle, individuals can improve their energy levels, focus, and concentration.

Financial Stability: Poor health and wellness can lead to increased medical expenses and lost income due to illness. By taking care of one's health and wellness, individuals can avoid these costs and maintain financial stability.

We will hear from speakers who will address these and other factors of importance for the First State.
