Rezwanul Jami Haque

Rezwanul Haque Jami is a visionary entrepreneur, innovative market disruptor, and self-taught programmer with extensive industry knowledge and work experience. As the Head of e-Commerce, he coined the term 'rural e-commerce' while presenting his paper in the 1st Digital World Summit back in 2016, which paved the way towards making ekShop a reality, a model now being successfully replicated in other territories of the world, after making a major paradigm shift in the e-commerce practices locally. Before joining a2i, Jami co-founded and served as the elected Vice President of the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (eCAB). A business graduate of the prestigious University of Dhaka, Jami hails from Rajshahi and had played diverse roles in the local telecom operator and telco service provider industries. He has also achieved success as a VAS entrepreneur, co-developing and rolling out commercially successful VAS platforms that are unique and innovative.

Shams Jaber

Entrepreneur

Shams Jaber is an entrepreneur and an educator whose lifelong mission is to gamify the education system. He founded The Tech Academy in 2013 which is known as the first institute in Bangladesh to teach robotics institutionally to school children. He has been involved in many social innovation projects including computing in the cloud-literally in Bandarbans, BhaiThamen (application for women's safety) and Project Unlearn (gender education for young boys), and so on. He has also been awarded the prestigious Joy Bangla Youth Award in 2021 and was featured by UNDP Bangladesh as one of the transformers for his contribution to education through The Tech Academy.
