In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anna Anderseon

Mindset and Personal Development Coach

Anthony Gedge

Disrupter of Dentistry, Author, Humanitarian, Mouth Cancer Awareness Activist
Anthony has been an entrepreneur, author and philanthropist for over 35 years. Owning two-night clubs, a record label and naming and regenerating an area of Leeds city centre called the Exchange Quarter. For the past 23 years, Gedge has helped dental practice owners grow and exit for multiples far higher than they would have done on their own. He co-founded a charity called Dental Mavericks in 2008 to end daily dental pain for people worldwide with no access to pain-free dentistry. Dental Mavericks have now helped more than 150,000 beneficiaries gain access to FREE, pain-free dentistry. Thirteen years ago, Gedge took John Lennon and Elvis Presley’s teeth on tour around UK dental practices to fight against mouth cancer. The free mouth cancer screenings events were shown on TV around the globe, including the BBC, ABC, and even featured in the Indian Times. Anthony has lived in Marbella for the past 18 years and regularly plays table tennis with a view to living 147 years young!

Cepee Tabibian

At the age of 35, Cepee Tabibian upended her entire life by selling her belongings and moving to Europe—and since then, has never looked back. Now, she teaches other women how to do it too, through her company She Hit Refresh: a global community of over 10,000 women age 30+ who want to move abroad. She even turned her overseas expertise into the digital book “I’m Outta Here! An American’s Ultimate Visa Guide to Living in Europe”—which was featured in Forbes, along with her top tips for moving abroad (spoiler alert: it’s easier than you think). She’s the proud daughter of immigrants–Colombian and Iranian–and grew up in Houston, Texas before becoming an immigrant herself in Spain.

Diego Juela

Chemical Nano-Engineering Scientist, Disability Advocate
Diego is originally from Ecuador and currently is pursuing a master’s degree in Chemical Nano-Engineering in France, Poland, and Italy with the Erasmus Mundus scholarship. After suffering exclusion during his undergraduate program on account of his visual disability, he committed himself to change the way disability is viewed by society. Diego is a chemical engineer from the University of Cuenca, Ecuador, where he graduated with honors at the top of his class and received several national and international awards for various scientific projects conducted during his undergraduate program. As a science student, he has strived to develop ways to increase equity and inclusion in research and academia. Recently, he founded ScienDis, a global network for people with disabilities pursuing a STEM career, with the aim of increasing the representation of this minority in science. He firmly believes that disability can be an asset that we can tap into to exploit our potential in any discipline

Franck Benhamou

Franck is a corporate executive turned entrepreneur, digital nomad, and minimalist. His early career included various positions at SC Johnson & Son in marketing and general management (USA, USSR, Spain, Ukraine, UK, Russia); ending up as Group General Manager – CIS. He left the corporate world in 2000 to create his first internet company in Russia, which he later sold to an investment fund. For the last 15 years, Franck has been traveling the world with his family, studying alternative lifestyle business models, and promoting various businesses all connected with the internet. His latest venture, is called the Fans League. It is the first fact-based, season-long competition to rank sports fans around the world. Franck holds an Engineering Diploma from France, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from The University of Chicago.

Izidro is an IT Project Manager, Speaker, and Communication Coach with extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Management from the University of Minho, a Master’s degree in Innovation Management from ISCTE Business School , and a Post-graduate degree in Executive MBA from INDEG-ISCTE-IUL. He has worked as a computer programmer, systems analyst, project manager, and head of department, with a proven track record of delivering & managing projects and teams. As a speaker, Izidro has gained recognition for his skills in public speaking, having won numerous contests, including the Iberian Championship of Public Speaking three times in a row at European level, and finalist in the World Championship, ranking among the top 8 out of more than 30,000 contestants from 140 countries. As a communication coach, Izidro helps individuals to overcome their fear of public speaking and deliver impactful presentations.

Marta Pardo

Marta is a 27-year expert in customer experience, motivation, and leadership, with an international career at companies like Disney, Marriott, and Accor. She's honored with a "Leadership in Positive Action" medal in Mexico . As Co-President of Women's Entrepreneurs in Rhône, France, she champions gender equality. Marta serves on the boards of Spanish and French Professional Speakers Associations and is a multilingual International Speaker and Master of Ceremonies. Her "P-ROAD" method enhances customer experience, motivation, trust, and team cohesion. She's also the author of "On the Road to Motivation.

Percy Roland

High end real estate agent
Percy Roland leads a double life – as a public speaker and as an agent for high-end real estate. In one, he has won multiple international public speaking competitions. In the other, he has sold multi-million euro properties in Marbella to discerning international clients. Both have given him insight in the importance of connecting with your client (or audience) through effective communication. He worked for some of the biggest names in the real estate business and recently founded his own agency, Percy Roland Marbella, as well as Marbella Property Forum which aims to promote Marbella real estate abroad through conferences and events. In his TedX speech, he will share some of the lessons he learnt over the years of dealing with impossible situations, and share the most important insight he gained – something that is applicable in every line of business and beyond.

Steve Payne

Executive Coach, Author and Keynote Speaker
Steve Payne is a leadership and communication skills specialist, public speaking coach, actor, writer and founder of the Academy of Coaching and Training (ACT). He is a certified Master Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and currently sits on the external verification panel for the Association for Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Steve trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and worked as a professional actor in theatre, film, radio and television. As a writer, Steve co-wrote “Morrison’s Birthday Party’, which won Best Short Film at the New York International Film Festival. Steve is the co-author of the critically acclaimed book, ‘My 31 Practices’, published by LID. Steve’s passions include flying - he has a private pilot’s licence, travelling and experiencing different cultures, movies, and sunshine! He lives in Marbella with his teenage daughter.
