Evey two years!
Every two years we strive to evolve!
In 2019, we aimed "oasis", and in 2021, we moved "towards hope". Now, in 2023, we are trying to look differently. Look differently to where diversity comes from, to different thoughts. This way, we suppose to embrace peace and creativity coming from the very precious blessing of being different from one another. If we do so; Galilei would not have been blamed for his idea, or maybe no one gets killed beacause of their beliefs.
Therefore, we focus on "dimension".
On different dimensions, and then the world becomes a better place!

Activist, Industrialist, Entrepreneur

I am an entrepreneur, product inventor, and designer for international markets. I started AF Optical company in US in 1993, and managed it for 20 years until Edmund Optics bought my patent, and I signed a non-compete agreement with them for 5 years. I decided to use that opportunity to come to Iran to spend time with my elderly mother. Having nothing else to do, I started OMiD museum: (opto-mechanical institute of design) which is a collection of opto-mechanical instruments for the youth. I have been running ZIMAK watch factory till present. I studies physics, and mech. Engineering at University of Illinois, electronics at DeVry, and California state university, Los Angeles, and optics at university of La Vern. I worked on Hubble Space Telescope, Cassini spacecraft, and the Schmidt Cassegrain telescope at Mount Palomar.

Golrokh Davaran

MD, Entrepreneur

Dr. Golrokh Davaran is a medical doctor and CEO of Snapp Doctor, which is one of the first applications in E-health domain in Iran. She cares about helping people all around the world with their medical issues and how she was capable of coming to a solution in this regard by creating a health application which is now popular among Iranian people. She emphasizes that medicine should be considered out of a specific office or border and people should be able to benefit from medical care regardless of where they are and who they are.

Hamed Vahdati Nasab

Full Professor of Archaeology

I was born in 1974 in Tehran. I got my BA and MA in Biology (Zoology) and in the year 2000 I started my education at the Arizona State University under the supervision of Prof. Donald Johanson and Prof. Geoff Clark. I received my Ph.D. in 2006 on the facial morphology of Neanderthals and then moved to the University of Alberta to work on the Baikal Archaeology Project in my Postdoc doing ancient DNA analysis. Later I fulfilled another Postdoc position within University of Oxford on Bioarchaeology of the Salt men project. Since the year 2007 I have been working in the department of archaeology in Tarbiat Modares University.

Sherwin Vakili

Mythologist

Born in 1974, and raised in an intellectual family. He Received his MS in Physiology and his PhD degree in Sociology from Allameh Tabatabaei University; Lecturer, University of Tehran. His thesis was known as the Iranian’s best research of the year 2004 in the realm of humanities by the National Administration of Culture and Science. He started a non-formal sciencephilosophy circle called the club of knowledge, in 1992, which was continued for 4 years, and then ended up in a cluster of cultural groups. These groups united again in the year 2000, to become Kanoon Khorshid (the Center of the Sun) NGO.
