Theme: Stories Behind Stories

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He started his journey from learning Karate in his childhood to then pursuing his jump rope journey and now coaching multiple people in jump rope. In addition to that he has over 500 medals and achievements in jump rope karate and archery. With his passion for fitness, he is also an official brand ambassador of Fit India.

Prof. Salins is an acclaimed authority in Cranio-Maxillofacial and reconstructive Surgery, known for developing orthomorphic surgery techniques for correction of facial deformities, innovations in skull base access and reconstructive surgery. Dr.Salins work on systems approach to drug discovery to arrest or reverse lifestyle and ageing related Chronic diseases early, during its continuum has led to a genre of “interceptive therapeutics”. Composite Interceptive Medical Science Laboratories, (CIMED) is a startup that he founded that works in this domain. In the area of computation, Professor Salins terms his work “predictability before knowability! creating intuitive AI/machine learning systems for analysis of large, complex data clusters and adaptive systems as the foundation for pattern-based topologic analytics and inverse kinematics professor. Salins has a passion for Art and architecture, Classical music and Opera, literature, and the study of its impact on creativity.

Kartikeya Vikram Sarabhai, a passionate Environmentalist and Community Builder is renowned for his momentous efforts towards educating the society on the Environment. Kartikeya has represented India on a global level twice at the United Nation’s Earth Summit, in 1992 at Rio and in 2002 at Johannesburg. He has been instrumental in initiating the South and Southeast Asian Network for Environmental Education. The indefatigable Kartikeya continues to spread awareness and educate people through programmes and workshops of CEE - ‘Centre for Environmental Education’ an organisation founded by him. Meet Mira Erda, India's first and youngest female F4 racer to qualify in the Euro JK series, breaking barriers and accelerating towards her dreams with every lap she takes. Hailing from Vadodara in Gujarat, the Erda's successfully run professional circuits which go by the name 'Erda Speedway'. She has been racing since the age of 9, winning countless national and international awards for the same. In 2019, she made history with her first-ever international win in the Ladies category of the FIA Formula 4 SEA Championship Round 2 at Sepang International Circuit.

Priyanka Agarwal Mehta

Priyanka is a writer, entrepreneur and mother. She is the founder of ‘Sam and Mi’, a publishing house for children’s books focused on skills of empathy, problem solving and communication. She is also the founder of an agritech app that helps farmers in India minimize their risk. She previously founded the UK based education network ‘Connect2Teach’. She is a Northwestern University and University of Cambridge alumni. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, in recognition of her contribution to the education sector. She has previously worked with corporates such as Tata Group, KPMG Boxwood and Towers Perrin in India, UK and the US. SHe is well networked within Government machinery for her work in the education and entrepreneurial fields. She currently lives in India with her husband, two daughters and their four dogs
