The human mind works in mysterious ways and it is always capable of learning things from past and then stepping towards the future of change, modifying everything around us into something better. These are the people who are able to bring and perceive a third side to the coin i.e., see the unseen. Through this theme, we can understand the minds capable of thinking outside the box; peaking into the unexplored world through enormous amount of reasoning, imagination, humility, and curiosity.

Youngest Principal at the University of Delhi

Prof. Arun Kumar Attree is the Principal of a University of Delhi College. He became the Principal of the India’s second largest college of commerce in his short experience of 15 years and 5 days against the minimum requirement of 15 years. He is the youngest Principal of University of Delhi at present. He also the youngest principal to have the charge of two colleges as he also has the additional charge of one more College. He has done his Ph.D. from Delhi School of Economics, Department of Commerce, University of Delhi and LL.B from faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He has many papers published in national and international journals of repute including journals in ABDC.

Playing music since he was 8, Srijan has played over a 1000 concerts around the world taking over drumming duties for bands such as Parikrama, Shubha Mudgal and Koshish, Half Step Down, Cyanide and FuzzCulture at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Centre in Washington, the Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore and at the Music Matters Main Stage, apart from sharing the stage with icons such as Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Porcupine Tree. In 2012, he co-founded Studio Fuzz which has been the mecca for artists and film makers to help them realise their musical dreams. In addition to his musical career, Srijan co-founded, Pause, a platform for specialist mental health services by artists and for artists. Recognising the need for this service in India, Srijan Mahajan and Ankur Kampani founded Pause in 2021.

With an illustrious academic career in design spanning more than a decade, he has shaped the career of hundreds of design students with my innovative and inimitable style of teaching. An alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, and a gold medalist in Fine Arts, He has taught at the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology, Mohali before joining the Institute of Design, State University of Performing & Visual Arts, Rohtak as one of the founder faculty. While academics is my first choice, my passion for design has also led me to dabble in freelance work. He has exhibited his work at several national and international platforms. He has also designed logos and created murals for various state governments.
