Theme: NURTURE

Everything which we see or feel has a journey of its own. During this journey, the care, love and attention that we give, help form a strong foundation for that being.
When we take back a tiny rose sapling from a nursery to our home, we protect it with both our hands so that it won’t get hurt and it won’t die. We water it daily, look after it, and as days pass, the more care and attention we give to that small sapling, there comes a day when we see a vibrant red-coloured rose beautifully bloomed on it.
We 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 that sapling, and this is our theme for TEDxKCCollege 4.0 - 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄.

Similarly in today’s world, where people are easily influenced by the likes and comments on their “reel” social life, they often forget how important it is to have an impact on your “real” social life. How we groom ourselves, how much of our time we will be giving ourselves, is going to decide how better we become. In this process we learn, we read, and we experience, and it shapes us like embers forming a fire.

Just like a fire that illuminates the way for others, we too could learn from this fire that by nurturing others, we too can feel a whole on ourselves.
Even if you have a little good to give, if you give that good to someone for whom it may be like a treasure, learn to give that good to them.
This is a part of 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄, and it only gets better as time passes.

We all have something good and something bad in us. Even if you have that one per cent of good in you, by your actions and your efforts you make it to one hundred, that is nurturing...

Prit Kamani is an accomplished actor, singer, dancer, writer, television presenter, and an entertainer.
