My name is Raina. I am a high school senior at Nashua High School South. I plan to title my TEDx talk: Why Compassion is the Antidote to Neurodivergent shame. I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 17 after undergoing a neuropsychological evaluation. Because of my diagnosis, I developed an interest in neuropsychology and a passion for disability advocacy. I plan to explore these topics during my undergraduate education. In my remaining time, I enjoy creating concept-based art and practicing music.
My name is Rithika Praturu and I am a junior at Nashua South. I love playing basketball, going to gym, traveling with my family and nature photography. I am a big fan of watching the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team play and am an avid Chelsea supporter. My love for sports and the players is one of the reason I want to highlight the discrepancy between male and female athletes and help bring more awareness to the increased injury in women sports and try to help make a difference. I am a big advocate for the Equal Pay movement and have always found my inspirations through sport. In my free time I find myself outside taking photos of nature and spending time with my family and friends. To contact Rithika Praturu: http://www.linkedin.com/in/rithikapraturu.
