TEDxHamiltonRoad, an independent TED event, is the first imprint based on the TEDx format. An entirely youth-focused initiative, we aim to bring out the best from diverse fields in order to promote learning, inspire, and have meaningful conversations. We believe in enlightening people, planting an idea in their minds that can bring about changes, impacting other people with strong words, believing that life is worth all the effort, and welcoming better and new possibilities.
With the changing and ever-evolving humankind, 8 billion perspectives are what it takes for 24 hours to go by. Myriads of stories are written daily at the center of which lies our point of view. The perception of humans is involved in formulating the past, present, and future.
Our Point of View holds the herculean force to dominate the fundamentals of life, society, and of humanity. The imperative is our consciousness, extolled by the persistent abode as it manages to shape our opinions to a greater extent. Point of view, a figurative usage of expression dating back to the 1760s, with time has changed and affected the course of history and is highly multifunctional and ambiguous as validated by the famous quote “Beauty lies in the eyes of the Beholder".
