Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. The goal: To build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions into half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner, and fairer for everyone.

Shaurya Tarni

Scuba instructor & Founder of species.org.in
As much as we realize the urgent need for wildlife conservation, we don’t always know what we’re trying to save or why and how it exists in the first place. It's good to question and explore the oddities of the world around us. SPECIES celebrates that curiosity. While we live bound by several human constructs, animals do things differently. In their simple yet wonderfully intricate lives, there are fewer schedules and more rhythm. Beauty and power are not easily quantifiable. Understanding them humbles us and makes us more compassionate. The main motto is- ‘The more we learn, the more we'll love and protect them.’
