Theme: Left Right & Centre

This event occurred on
April 30, 2023
Nagpur, Maharashtra
India

Do you turn left where nothing is wrong, or do you turn right where nothing is left? But how about going back to where it all started? - the ‘Centre’! Life is a circle, our thoughts being its circumference, and our beliefs lying in the centre. At the core of this sphere lies the essence of who we are as human beings - our hopes, fears, dreams, and desires.
To the questions that make us step out of the house each day, make us realize that all answers seem to lie within the centre. Every thought, whether positive or negative, sprouts out from the centre, yielding it life to crawling back in, wiping its existence. Thus, the centre fuels one’s existence and is potent of erasing it altogether.
Our thoughts and beliefs are constantly evolving, shaped by our experiences, relationships, and the world around us. The centre of our being is where we find the strength and resilience to face life's challenges and to navigate the complexities of the world, we live in. By exploring the left, right and centre of our inner selves, we can gain a deeper understanding of what makes us who we are and what connects us to others.
Similarly, cities have witnessed remarkable history throughout their existence. Their virtues and vices converging at a centre. But we have not done enough to celebrate the centre – that is Nagpur.
To connect the two contrasting edges, the left and the right, at a centre and explore its incredible oneness and to celebrate India’s centre, join us at TEDx Ambazari Lake 2023 with our broad theme “Left, Right & Centre,” which is an idea to bind different thoughts together and promote a deeper understanding of our shared humanity.
