In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aakanksha Raje Malla

Aakanksha is an alumnus from the batch of 2021. She was the first Convener of the Student Council body and organized and hosted the school's first edition of TEDx. She is currently a second year at Christ University, Bangalore where she is pursuing a triple major degree in Communication and Media, English and Psychology. Of the three, she is an ardent student of psychology and enjoys the nuances of the subject. She loves anything related to visual art, and following this interest, she started an art club in her university. If you cross her class, you're likely to find her doodling in the corner of her notebook or trying to sketch the professor of that hour.

Ananth is the Chief Executive Officer at HarperCollins Publishers India. Since Ananth’s appointment as CEO, the company has grown its revenues and expanded its publishing footprint in English language publishing for India. Strategic initiatives included investing in new categories and voices, imprints and new capabilities. The company’s strategic partnerships with various publishers, both Indian and international, and strong relationships with booksellers. Ananth is Co-Chair of the Publishing Committee within FICCI. He is actively involved in policy making that enable a level playing field for Indian publishing, championing inclusion and diversity, protecting authors against Copyright and Territorial Infringement and fighting digital and print piracy in the market. He has spent over three decades in bookselling and publishing, which began at a bookstore in Chennai, India, in 1992 where he discovered his love for books.

Aravindan Vasudevan

Aravindan Vasudevan is the co-founder of Actorius Innovations and Research and OneCell Diagnostics. At Actorius, Aravindan was part of the team which developed the OncoDiscover – Circulating Tumor Cell Technology, India’s first indigenously developed DCGi approved IVD technology. He also leads the operations of OneCell Diagnostics which is a precision oncology company focussed on developing multi-omics technologies for cancer therapy and drug discovery.

She was posted to the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Office and was deputed to the Maharashtra Cyber Police Department during her tenure, servicing under the Hon’ble Governor office and Hon’ble Home Minister’s office. In her capacity she has trained 5500+ officers across agencies such as 1. Intelligence Bureau 2. Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI ) 3. EoW – Economic Offences Wing 4. Airforce Intelligence 5. Police Department across 14 states. On topics of cyber tradecraft, forensics and OSINT. Delving deep into data security, she was majorly involved in investigating cases related to digital infrastructural glitches, data breaches, monitoring the dark web activity, open source intelligence and mitigation of zero day vulnerabilities.

Manan is a quintessential 16-year-old however the creativity quotient supersedes his curiosity. This sets him apart as a hardworking and ambitious individual. He finds interest in all events related to public speaking and has been an active member of the school’s MUN Club. He has an extreme love for Mother Nature and animals. He is a cynophile. Though an introvert by nature, when it comes to public speaking, he loves it and enjoys sharing his knowledge. In addition to being a hard-core potter-head, he loves to read suspense novels and murder mysteries. Besides academics, he has participated in several CSR events, including plantation drives and animal rescues. The nucleus of Manan’s talk is based on the premise that, if small actions are taken by the masses, they can have multi-fold positive impacts and help us save the environment for future generations. He stresses the need for all of us to make these small changes in our daily lives and become the harbingers of change.
