For the past two years, due to COVID, we’ve not been able to enjoy a meal with friends and have been relegated to food delivery services or binge-cooking the latest TikTok fad. Yet, eating together as families and friends is a strong tie that needs to be reinstated to build bridges vital to our daily lives. Sharing meals, especially as a family unit, has been disrupted since the 1950s, when the percentage of women entering the workforce dramatically increased. Chef Chris Hill believes the dinner table is the center of the community, both in and out of the home, and has ideas for how we can regain this sense of Community.
