Theme: What's next

This event occurred on
May 13, 2023
Beirut, Beyrouth
Lebanon

The world is constantly evolving. While the 21 st century has brought along with it
great technological and scientific advancements, it has also given rise to a wide
spectrum of challenges: economic, psychological, environmental, technological,
medical, social and so on.
With every moment in life come stress, expectations, and a constant sense that we
should compete and achieve. With every lived experience, people savour success
and struggle with failure. Consequently, mental health issues are on the rise as
addiction to technology grows stronger and social stereotypes continue to persist.
Are we at an inflection point? Where do we go from here? What's next? How do we
remain pertinent given the speed at which the world is evolving? How do we push
away the risk of obsolescence? Listen to our TEDx speakers share their stories,
successes, failures, fears and ideas of “What’s Next” to them… to us… to the World.
