In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

• Architectural Design Diploma - Damascus University. • Bachelor's degree in architecture - Baath University. •Currently, he is a Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Damascus University. • Previously; he worked as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Head of Architecture at the International University of Science and Technology (IUST). • He was a technical consultant to many government institutions. • Also, he was a community awareness consultant and TOT with UNICEF. • Member of public Institutions in many civil and community associations.

Ghanem Raslan

• He holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and a Master's degree in Dermatology from Damascus University. • He also holds a degree in Islamic law "Sharia'a" from Damascus University. He holds the position of Technical Director of the Hospital of Al-Birr Association since 2004 until now, as well as the Chairman of the Board of the same association , and also the formerly Chairman of the Voluntary Work Committee. • Member of the General Authority of Al-Birr, Social Services Association and the Islamic Charitable Society. • Former Member of the Board of the Syrian Society of Dermatology. • Former Editor-in-Chief of the Dermatology Magazine. •He gave many lectures at medical conferences and various social events. •He has many various social and cultural articles in the local official newspapers (Al-Orouba), and social media.

Khalil Ajmi

President of Syrian Virtual University. •Doctorate in information engineering. •He was affiliated with the Higher Institute of Applied Science and Technology (Centre for Scientific Studies and Research) in 1989. •Master's degrees in 1995 and doctorate in 1999 from the University of Sorbonne VI (Pierre and Marie Curie) in software engineering and information systems. •He worked as a researcher and professor and subsequently as head of the Department of Informatics at the Higher Institute between 2002 and 2013. •He was appointed Vice President of the Syrian Virtual University for Student Affairs in 2013 and subsequently President of the University since 2016. •He worked in the academic, training and advisory field at a number of Syrian universities and for governmental agencies and international organizations. • He contributed to the implementation of several studies and information automation projects for Syrian governmental institutions in addition to its participation in a number of European-Mediterranean projects to which Syria was a party. TEDx is proud of him to be a part of it, and we await with enthusiasm the inspiring ideas he will bring within it.

Student at the Faculty of Architecture at Al-Baath University. Member of the Union of Arab Intellectuals. Member of the Union of Arab plastic Artists. She holds an honorary doctorate on Arab creativity. A Guinness World Record holder for the largest mandala painting in the world. Trained at the local level in the art of mandalas.
