In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He is a Public speaker & speaks in various events. Devesh is also a Leadership Coach and Co-Founder at Leadership K.A.R.D, a Leadership Development Company. He is on a mission to create a tribe of 1 Million Emerging Leaders. He believes that the journey of transformational leadership starts with incremental steps taken to self-resetting the mindset and investing in developing leadership skills. Devesh is also a Co-Founder of the “Give Back to Community” Trust. This foundation supports children in rural India to pursue their education by bridging the technological gap in education. Currently they are supporting close to 1000 students. Devesh is a Health Enthusiast and has run various Half Marathons and long distance cycling.

DR. Susan Mendonca

Dr. Susan Maria Mendonca is a pathologist by profession, a creative educator by passion and an Assistant Professor by designation. ❖ Being a medical doctor, her interest lies in diagnosing cancer under the microscope and research. ❖ She is active in creating content and teaching medical students offline and online on YouTube (Pathology Riddles), Twitter and Facebook. ❖ With over 10 years of experience in teaching pathology to national and international students , she constantly tries to blend creativity and innovativeness to simplify concepts and improve analytical skills of students during her teaching process. ❖ She has been an active contributor to ‘Project Enable’, an initiative by GBTC trust, in Ayodhya (NGO) where 60 students from low income families are mentored. ❖ Through her talk, she raises awareness among educators towards the struggles of students who are soft spoken due to certain circumstances . Having experienced the struggles herself, she tries to be sensitive to those who are unable to express themselves using louder voices. Her journey has helped her devise a 3 step strategy, which she would like to share with educators so that they can bring the social media environment within classrooms and help to bring out the voices of those who are muted.
