In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Annmarie Kelly-Harbaugh

Annmarie Kelly-Harbaugh is the author of Here Be Dragons: A Parent’s Guide, a memoir about the sweet and wonderful misery of raising children with someone you love. She is also the host of Wild Precious Life, a literary podcast about making the most of the time we have. Her essays have appeared on NPR’s All Things Considered, Today Parenting, and in the New York Observer. Annmarie lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with an assortment of dying houseplants and a marshmallow dog named Higgins.

Bergina Isbell, MD, DABPN

Dr. Bergina Isbell, MD is a Psychiatry Specialist in Ellicott City, MD and has over 17 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Eastern Va Med School medical school in 2005. Her office accepts new patients.

Gregory D. Archbold

Gregory D. Archbold shares his leadership philosophy based on his personal experiences leading diverse groups of people. He believes that quality leadership principles can transcend generations. Greg is an active duty combat-tested Army officer who has served in the US Army for 32 years. He has served in various leadership positions, leading teams from 6 people to 120 people. Greg holds a master's degree in Operational Studies from the Command and General Staff College and a Master's in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.

Helen Moses

Helen Moses, Voice and Communication Strategist, imagines a new era where everyone's voice is heard and respected; where everyone feels confident expressing their opinions and ideas in a way that invites others to listen. Her vision includes a world of heart-centered communication, where we will assume the best of people we don’t know, and as a reward, we will get to enjoy common ground that would have otherwise gone undiscovered. Over the years, Helen has shared her voice as a singer, speech-language pathologist, business owner, coach, speaker, writer, and mother. She is the owner of Speak Up Communications and the author of the prescriptive memoir Voice Unleashed: Speaking Up with Faith and Courage. She lives in Raleigh, NC, with her husband of 25 years. They have a son in college, a daughter in high school, and two ten-year-old cats.

Hillary Parnell

Hillary Parnell is a consummate entrepreneur, wife, mother of four boys and Diet Coke enthusiast. She has been the owner of the Academy for the Performing Arts and Preschool for the Arts in Apex, NC for the past two decades and more recently founded two other dance adjacent companies. Over the past few years, she has shifted her focus from teaching children to helping other small business owners find a healthy life balance, while growing their revenue and increasing profit. She has over 200 small business owners, and authored two books. Her mission is to help the next generation of entrepreneurs create thriving businesses through leadership, mentorship and making not nearly as many mistakes in their businesses.

Holly Jean Jackson

Holly Jean Jackson, Holistic Business Coach, Speaker, Podcast Host, Author, and founder of Business Builder Throw Down. Best known for her success in her career spanning from technology to communications as well as organizational change, public relations and content strategy. She has dedicated over 12 years helping business leaders get their groove back physically, mentally and emotionally. She led a Local to Global Policy Initiative to influence future leaders' impact on communities. Fun Fact: Holly played in Carnegie Hall first chair clarinet and has a Black belt in karate. In her Transformational Coaching Method, she looks at a holistic and logistical approach to success. After all, one can’t have massive success in business without a life of equal or greater success. Business owners hire her to master the art and science of real success because most lack direction, action, and results. So, she helps them define and design a business roadmap for impactful visibility, intentional profitability, and endless sustainability.

Jacques Gilbert

Jacques Gilbert is a native of Apex, North Carolina where he currently resides. In April 2019, he retired from the Apex Police Department at the rank of Captain with 29 years of service. In addition to graduating in the 220th FBI National Academy, he has written three books, is a certified personal trainer, and is the founder of TheVine919. In 2015, Jacques was invited to the White House and recognized by President Obama and awarded "Champion of Change" due to his work with youth to build the Rodgers Family Skate Plaza in downtown Apex, and he was also recognized by the city with the Community Service Award.

Kimmy Seltzer

Kimmy Seltzer of kimmyseltzer.com is a Confidence Therapist, Authentic Dating Strategist, and Image Expert. With vast knowledge and experience as a therapist, certified style coach, dating coach, and matchmaker, she has helped people find lasting love and connection, attract success and build valuable relationships using her unique “confidence makeover” process. Using an outside-in approach, Kimmy implements targeted style, emotional and social intelligence in people’s lives using her signature formula, “The Charisma Quotient,” working on body language, first impressions, image/wardrobe, and flirting and how it impacts attraction. Monique Roberts-Rabil is an entrepreneur, leader, and creative professional who is passionate about connecting people and ideas to do great things. For over eighteen years, she showcased her creative side as the owner and cake artist of an award-winning custom cake and catering business. Currently, Monique is the Field Marketing Events Coordinator for Udacity, focused on talent transformation efforts in a digital world through her blog posts or field marketing events to connect people. A graduate of George Mason University, she has Bachelors in Organizational Communication and a Masters in Organizational Learning and Knowledge Management. As a community volunteer and respected PTA leader, she has volunteered in organizations & nonprofits supporting technology, diversity, and inclusion for over thirteen years.

Radhika Bhatt Trivedi

Radhika Bhatt Trivedi is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of Impower Physical Therapy & Wellness. She is a clinician for a pediatric cranial orthotics company, and an owner of two boutique Pilates fitness studios in the Virginia area. She has had extensive experience in various physical therapy settings such as acute care, neurological rehabilitation for adults and neurodevelopmental therapy for children, as well as pediatric wound care. She has been a writer and subject matter expert (SME) for courses covering rehabilitation in the pediatric setting and engaging individuals with autism in the rehabilitation setting for a national healthcare continuing education company. She writes about her experiences as a mother of two boys and as a physical therapist in her newsletter, I Am Power on Substack.com. Radhika is from Dallas, TX, but now lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children.

Tanish Shenoy

Tanish Shenoy is a currently attending high school, he aspires to become a successful Entrepreneur who makes a difference in the world by making things better than others and more accessible. He has won numerous awards in multiple disciplines. According to him, being an Entrepreneur gives you the opportunity to do things differently, and make a difference out of it whether it’s a simple thing or a big thing you have the chance to make it better, make a difference, and be successful in it.
