We will have six speakers from diverse fields expressing their views on topics related to the theme ‘Encore the Core'. Apart from showing Official video introduction of TED featuring TED Curator Chris Anderson we will also be showing two TED talks. There will also be an instrumental music and song presentation by students of our school. The event will be watched by students of grade 10, 11 and 12 of our school as well as three of the schools run by our trust in the school auditorium.

Jitendra Chaturvedi

Fine Art Photographer
Jitendra knew early on that he would rather be a job-giver than a job seeker. Completing his schooling from Choithram in 1990, he started a software business and began coding for small businesses. His resourcefulness and attitude of never saying NO to anything, led him to become the dealer for AutoCAD for the region. The creative being in him would not be suppressed, however. Getting a chance to play a lead role in the launch event of Bridgestone Tyres in India, he started out on his design journey and has not looked back since. Building up a creative agency servicing giants of industry and servicing them across the globe has been an arduous but deeply rewarding journey. Along the path, he has also taught creativity at the University. Many of those students, now in high positions in large global corporations, still look to him today as a mentor. While building his agency, Jitendra did not lose sight of his first passion, Photography and is now an Internationally awarded photographer,

Priyanshu Kumath

Water Hero, Founder & CEO Clean-Water
Priyanshu is the Founder-CEO of Clean-Water and an alumnus from Choithram School. He graduated from IIT Bombay with a B.Tech in Civil Engineering in 2012. He holds over a decade of experience in Operations, Strategy, Growth, CEO's office and multiple other profiles. He has worked across sectors such as Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Proptech, Edtech, Fintech, Environment, Sanitation, etc. He has led team sizes over 700 members and has worked in many across companies. As the Founder-CEO of Clean-Water, he has delivered over 25 Sewage Treatment Plants across India working with brands like Shapoorji Pallonji and Dept. of Atomic Energy. He has developed a sustainable and eco-friendly product called Floating Wetlands for Restoration of water-bodies. He has worked on over 12 water-bodies across India in 5 states. He has received the award of "Water Hero" and "Jal Prahari" from Jal Shakti Ministry, Water Resources Department, Government of India for his pond restoration project in Indore.

Rutuparn Satpute

Ethical Hacker, Bug Bounty Hunter
Rutuparn Satpute is an alumnus of Choithram School, batch 2013. He is an Ethical Hacker and a Bug Bounty Hunter with over four years of technical experience. He is credited with finding security flaws on Facebook, Cisco, Dream11 and many more organisations. He is an active bug bounty hunter on Bugcrowd with a ranking of under 1200 globally. Currently he’s working at a crypto exchange as a Cyber Security Manager.

Shokhi Banerjee

Screenwriter, Creative Producer
Eternally curious and looking for creativity in all experiences of life, Shokhi Banerjee is an alumnus of 2005 batch of Choithram School. Shokhi graduated with an MSc in Media Management from EMRC, DAVV in 2010. She comes with an experience of over 13 years in the field of Television and Films. She worked as a Producer with Star Plus at the start of her career and then went on to write for Star Plus, Colors, Eros International Studios and OTT platforms. Her film Suraj pe Mangal Bhari was produced by Zee Studios and was the first film to be released in theaters after the pandemic. She also owns a home bakery called Lemony Loaves which specialises in Sourdough breads. Some of her hit shows as a Producer were Veera, Saraswatichandra. She has written shows like Laal Ishq,Sarvagunn Sampann, Fanaa etc. She is a Creative Producer on multiple projects to be released in 2023 and is writing her next film while pursuing a PhD in Literature Adaptations in Media and baking a Sourdough everyday!

Srishti Jaisinghani

Grade 12 Student
Srishti Jaisinghani is a driven individual who reflects passion in everything she pursues. Showcasing a combination of wit and wisdom, she draws inspiration from everything around her. Srishti is a student of Choithram School studying in grade 12. She has been a member of the school’s TedEd club from grade 8 and has delivered three TedEd talks. Presently she is Head of the Entrepreneurship Cell of the school formed as a part of the School Innovation Council. Last year she was the Head of the Media Relations Department of the school's business enterprise 'Good Earth' and also led the event Battle of Brands for the Entrepreneurship Summit. Having participated in numerous elocution competitions and MUNs, Srishti is an adroit debater alongside being an avid reader.

Tanmay Mukherji

Innovator, Social Entrepreneur, Mentor
Tanmay is a 1991 alumnus of Choithram School. He did his Industrial Engineering from REC Jalandhar in 1996 and was the University topper. After working professionally for a few years with Grindwell Norton Ltd and then with Infosys Technologies Ltd, he joined his family manufacturing business in the field of Automotive Composites catering to all major OEMs in India and abroad. He led the business from a small enterprise to a Rs 100 Crore turnover company with plants in multiple locations in India and a JV with a leading auto component manufacturer in Germany. He was credited with developing new products, systems, and processes and developing innovative solutions to unique problems for the customers and the organisation. In 2021, he exited the business to work in the Social sector. He headed the Operations of Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh, started by well-known Innovator, Mr. Sonam Wangchuk. The major work included building Passive Solar Heated shelters for Indian Army.
