2. COVID-19 - Learning to live through shifting normals whether with or without the mask.
3. Rising from adversity - Everyone faces hardships, through which we become new people ready for newer challenges.

Gaurav Malhotra

Student speaker
Presently, the head boy of the school (for the term 2022-23) Gaurav Malhotra, an 11th-grade student at SIS, Head Boy, is an avid sports enthusiast. A keen participant in different academic endeavors and organizing extracurricular events, he wants to explore the intersection of Economics, Mathematics and Computer Science. He is also a keen analyser of artificial intelligence processes in the field of sports.

Harrish Shetty

Psychiatrist
Dr Harish Shetty is a psychiatrist, trainer, and an avid blogger known for his work in community and school mental health. He has worked with victims of disasters and communal riots across the country and has been counselling youngsters and students, conducting workshops across India for youth on suicide prevention and trains people to be mental health soldiers. His legal interventions have helped in changing mental health policies. Recently he has been appointed as a member of the National Testing Agency by the Union Cabinet on behalf of the HRD Ministry

Ms Nandita Puri

An author and a journalist
A former student of English literature, Nandita started out as a journalist with some of the leading publications in the country including The Statesman, The Telegraph and the TOI group. She wrote a popular weekly column on films for nearly a decade with Midday and Dainik Bhaskar. Apart from working as a broadcaster for AIR and Mark Tully's Radio Network, she has been on the script committees of NFDC and CFSI as well as a Ted x speaker. She also writes for television and films. Her collection of short stories Nine on Nine was published in 2005 followed by the highly successful biography, Unlikely Hero: Om Puri and her current international best seller Jennifer on child trafficking and inter country adoption. This is soon to be adapted into a film. In 2017 she launched the Om Puri Foundation at the 70th Cannes Film Festival in memory of her husband to carry forward his legacy and philosophy. Currently she chairs the Om Puri Foundation

Sandra Shroff

Vice Chairman of and Director of UPL
Mrs. Sandra Shroff, is the Vice Chairman of and Director of UPL and Enviro Technology Ltd. and Bharuch Enviro Infrastructure Ltd., respectively. She is an active contributor to the Indian Chemical industry. Promoting social infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, providing tube-wells to villages and helping farmers with better methods of farming. She is renowned for the establishment of institutions that are ranked among the best in South Gujarat. As a Trustee of the GnyanDham Vapi Charitable Trust, she spearheads their various social upliftment projects. She has also adopted the Model Eklavya Residential School at Ahwa, a school for tribal children in the Dang district.

Shantanu Moitra

musician and pianist
Shantanu Moitra is an Indian score composer, musician and pianist who has composed songs for the Hindi film industry and is most known for his scores in the films Parineeta, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Lage Raho Munnabhai, and 3 Idiots. He’s also worked on private albums like Mann ke Manjeere and Ab ke Saawan sung by Shubha Mudgal. In 2014, he received the National Film Award for Best Music Direction (Background Score) for Na Bangaaru Talli, the Filmfare RD Burman Award for Parineeta in 2006 and the Mirchi Music Award in 2013 for his work in Madras Cafe.

Shivank Menon

Student speaker
An avid debater, pianist and a quizzard, Shivank Menon is a 12th Grade student at Singapore International School. He is also a Core team member of the Indian Stammering Association. As a person who has overcome his own speech difficulties , he is deeply interested in the intersections of music and speech. He is currently the head of the Rotaract Club of the school, the student secretary general of SISMUN 2021-22 and the recipient of King Constantine Medal of the Round Square for his keen participation in social work.

Sujata Singhi

An author and Sound and Music Therapist
Dr. Sujata Singhi is a bestselling author, life coach and a rare spiritual scientist who has received various national and international awards in the fields of Leadership, Life Skill Education and Sound and Music Therapy. She is an Honorary Editorial Board of the IJBST-Journal Group UNESCO MIL Alliance Member and a part of the National Child and Women Development Council.
