'Hidden in Plain Sight' is an initiative to throw a spotlight on the exceptional people who are often hidden in the ordinary with a line up of 5 extraordinary speakers who have excelled in their fields across technology to entertainment.

Our theme aims to spotlight these faces and listen to what they have to say, their stories and most importantly their ideas worth sharing. TEDxCOEP wishes to provide a platform for these individuals who have ‘Ideas worth Spreading.’

Prof Pravin Puranik is currently working as a Professor (Biotechnology) at School of Life Sciences KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, MH. He recieved his doctorate degree from Agharkar Research Institue Pune in 1999 and has since been working as a Lecturer and Scientist in the Biotechnology field. He has published various research papers in national and international journals.

Preeti Deshmukh

A nutri-prenaur hailing from Pune. Preeti Deshmukh chose to change the lives of people with food. From running cloud kitchens to empowering women to start their food businesses during the pandemic and helping local producers in the area. She is a woman of many talents and an everyday hero whose wisdom and story inspire us to do what we can in our communities!

Priyanka Sadar

Dr. Priyanka Priyan Sadar, Scientist by profession, she has been featured in numerous reputed journals, earned notable memberships, and received impressive awards while continuously contributing to humanity's well-being. Hailing from humble backgrounds, she has shown us that the sky is the limit and completed her PhD in 'Cancer Research' from one of the most prestigious institutes in the world. Having witnessed her work in finding novel ideas to cure illnesses, we are deeply honored to have her with us.
