Since the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted our lives and what actions should we take to solve and succeed in uncertainties. Becoming future-ready involves building, exploring, learning and leading with purpose.

Anastasia Sukhoretskaya

Anastasia has been living in Beijing, China, since 2011. Her ability to speak multiple languages and her innate curiosity for the world earned her a career in media, a field she continues to work in. Anastasia speaks five languages and never stops learning.

Anitra Coelho

Anitra Coelho is a 7th grader who joined CISB following her 7-year stay in Dubai. Although she identifies as Indian, Anitra has lived in four countries and considers herself to be a global citizen. She is passionate about reading, drama, writing, cooking and music.

Emily See, Ruey

Emily is a 10th grader at CISB. She has enjoyed public speaking ever since she was in kindergarten. Apart from her love for learning, Emily enjoys all forms of art — including visual arts, theatre and music — along with crocheting, reading and debate.

Frank Wang

Frank is the CEO of General Education, which focuses on English and Public Speech Training. He is fluent in four languages. He has delivered over 400 public speeches all over China. He is also a professional trainer in many Fortune 500 Companies.

Jonas Wolf

Jonas is the founder and CEO of LeaDAOship. His mission is to unleash purpose-driven entrepreneurial leaders and their ideas. Jonas is a Forbes 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.

Karen Jiayi Li

Karen is 15 years old and is in grade 10. She is Canadian-born Chinese and likes reading and swimming. She hopes to improve her fear of public speaking and skills related. She also likes sharing ideas and hopes you will learn something today. Enjoy the evening!

Stella Yu

Stella is a Senior at the Canadian International School of Beijing and has studied here for over 10 years. She is the current student council Vice President and leads the supplementary teaching club. Her passions include mathematics and volleyball. In past TEDx events, Stella has assisted backstage and with tech. This is her first time joining TEDx as an onstage speaker.

Wahed Ahmadzai

Waheed is a Beijing-based entrepreneur and community builder. He is the Secretary General of Alumni Talent Alliance, a non-profit career and entrepreneurship guidance platform, and is the CEO of NHUB. Wahed was named Phoenix Youth Ambassador by the Chaoyang government and is passionate about promoting inclusion and equality of opportunities.

Zhuotong Han Henry

Henry is a senior attending the Canadian International School of Beijing. Currently, Henry is the student council president. He also leads the Model United Nations club and the supplementary teaching club. In his spare time, Henry likes to play volleyball and is an assistant coach of the U14 volleyball team.
