David Baker

Neuroscience Professor
Dr. David Baker is a professor at Marquette University and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences. His cutting-edge research into the cognitive abilities of humans and neuropsychiatric disorders has led to the successful launching of the biotechnology company Promentis Pharmaceuticals.

Knikki Hernandez

High School Spanish Teacher
Knikki Hernandez is a high school Spanish teacher in Central Virginia with several years of experience working alongside students and teachers to maximize learning gains and academic outcomes. Throughout the pandemic, Knikki found an additional passion for the generational differences and created an organization called Turning The Tide Teachables where she and her team provide access to trainings, courses, and coaching sessions for educators, parents, and anyone who is seeking insight into connecting with other generations to build stronger and healthier relationships and cultures.

Sherrill Knezel

Graphic recorder, illustrator, and art educator
Sherrill Knezel is a graphic recorder, illustrator, and art educator in Wauwatosa, WI where she uses her expertise in visual literacy and graphic recording to help students, educators, and organizations tell the heart of their story through images and text. She leads visual literacy workshops to empower people to use visuals to increase connection, clarity, and collaboration. Sherrill is the founder of Meaningful Marks LLC, a graphic recording and illustration firm that focuses on using visuals and graphic recording to support nonprofits, educators, and corporate sector clients in conversations around racism, inclusion, and creating generative and transformative change in their communities.

Steven Hartman Keiser

English Professor
Dr. Steven Hartman Keiser is associate professor of English at Marquette University. He studies how language varies across space and time in order to explore the how and why of linguistic variation and change. But that may just be an excuse to learn Ojibwe.
