x = independently organized TED event

This event occurred on
April 2, 2022
Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

After several years of working in social care, specifically young people leaving care, I decided to move into teaching, I completed my Post Graduate in teaching and started teaching Criminology for A level students (16-18-year-olds). I wrote the programme as it was very new at the time. I am committed to learning more about Criminology and plan to start my masters in Criminology in late 2022.
