Dr. Christian Busch

Director, CGA Global Economy Program, New York University & Author, The Serendipity Mindset
Prof. Dr. Christian Busch is the bestselling author of Connect the Dots: The Art & Science of Creating Good Luck – “a wise, exciting, and life-changing book” (Arianna Huffington) that "provides excellent practical guidance for all” (Paul Polman, former CEO, Unilever) – and an internationally known expert in the areas of innovation, purpose-driven leadership, and serendipity. He is the director of the CGA Global Economy Program at New York University (NYU), and Visiting Fellow at the LSE's Marshall Institute. He is a cofounder of Leaders on Purpose and the Sandbox Network, and a former co-director of LSE's Innovation Lab. His work has been featured by outlets such as the Strategic Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, Forbes, The Guardian, Washington Post, and the BBC. He is member of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Expert Forum, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and on the Thinkers50 Radar list of the 30 thinkers "most likely to shape the future."

Dr. Lucy Shoolbred

Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Dr Lucy is a highly experienced clinical business psychologist and trainer who brings an extensive background within the National Health Service and global corporations. As co-founder of Working Mindset, she specialises in providing businesses with expert wellbeing consultation, ensuring that employee wellbeing is woven into the heart of the business. Dr Lucy has a clinical psychology Doctorate from Christchurch Canterbury University and a Masters from Surrey University. She is a working mum who is passionate about enabling workplaces to create psychological safety to facilitate open conversations on human vulnerability and our mental health.

Ian Gibbs

The Learnability Man
Ian started his educational training when he was 5 in Sheffield, England. Fifty years later and after a degree in astrophysics, an MBA, and a wide variety of other learning (and teaching) experiences, he’s still pushing the limits of knowledge acquisition. Just as learning to drive helps you become a capable and confident driver, Ian has seen how learning to learn can help students of all ages become capable and confident learners. In 1997 he founded IPA Productions, one of Europe’s leading educational theatre companies. With four published books, he works as learning-strategies specialist, giving seminars, workshops and talks worldwide. His talks on Learnability have informed and inspired thousands of people to become more effective students and lifelong learners. He moved from England to Spain in 1990 where he lives in the Natural Forest of Collserola with his wife, his twins and his bouncy dog.

Julie Verdugo

Director of Sustainability + Social Impact
Julie has dedicated her career to driving social and environmental change through the fashion industry and is currently the Director of Sustainability and Social Impact at Urban Outfitters and Free People, of URBN Inc. Working with corporations, nonprofits, start-ups, and entrepreneurially in the Americas, Europe, and Asia she has built systems where sustainable and inclusive solutions can thrive. As a Chilean-American she holds a special passion for empowering the Latinx community. Julie serves on the Board of nonprofits Girls Inc, Mercado Global, Cuba Skate and LIM College. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from IESE Business School.

Karim Adaimi

IESE MBA Class of 2022
Proudly from the beautiful country of Lebanon, Karim was trained as a structural engineer but has found his calling in entrepreneurship, working on several of his own projects as he also finishes his MBA at IESE Business School. Karim has been a scout for most of his life and continues to have a love of nature, hiking, and giving back to the world.

Leslie Saglio

Certified Trauma-Informed Master Coach
With expertise spanning over 15 years, from Hollywood executive to startup co-founder, to living overseas for over a decade, Leslie understands well what it takes to thrive in a stressful and challenging global environment. She is a certified Trauma-Informed Master Coach, Facilitator, Speaker, and Founder of the Feminine Power & Purpose Immersion transforming the lives of women so they can take centre stage in life and work, impacting the world with their unique influence. She is the Creator of the On Purpose Collective Facebook Group, a global community of like-minded people inspired to live a purposeful life, and where she teaches live weekly and multi-day training. She also earned her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Leslie has been featured in U.S. and internationally in numerous media and publications. A Los Angeles native and London expat, Leslie currently lives in Barcelona with her husband and two children.

Noud van Hecke

Coach-Trainer-Psychologist
Noud van Hecke (1973) is an organisational psychologist and Partner at Vidacto (training, coaching, assessment). As a trainer and coach he helps individuals and teams in finding and maintaining job satisfaction, in feeling energized and in realizing personal goals. Based on the ambition to always enjoy your work with pleasure and energy. Being able to deal effectively with (work) stress is an important part of this. Noud obtained his master degree in 1999 at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He worked for several consultancy firms. In 2006 he started Vidacto. The vision of organizational development is that proud and resilient people, that enjoy their work, always make the difference. Organizations develop best by developing every individual and every team in that organization.
