In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

After her first TEDx talk in 2020, “How Can We Not Let Breakups Break Us?” she swore off public speaking (due to anxiety), but was drawn back to the TEDx stage to talk about an issue close to her heart, “What Everyone Needs To Know About Divergent Minds.” A dyslexic and a highly sensitive person (HSP) who has become an advocate for the neurodiverse community, Tasha hopes to inspire you to see individuals like her as special, talented people who just have brains wired differently—while continuing to help bring these invisible diversities into the light. Relentlessly curious about human behavior, Tasha will launch her own podcast, “The Psych Lab” in the fall, and welcomes you to check out her newsletter community, her latest book, Master Dater: The New Normal Dating Guide for Finding Love In the Digital Age, as well as all of the psych resources at tashajackson.com.
