In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alexander Metzler

Speaker, Biohacker, Podcaster & Expert on Health in the Digital Age
Alexander Metzler describes himself primarily as a human being on this planet. In addition, Alexander has spent many years in front of screens as an entrepreneur in the digital media industry. He created websites, films, print media and his path led him to the position of vice president of the open source CMS Joomla, which he presented internationally. A successful career, but not without a price: his health setbacks led him to a sustainable life in balance between the digital world and the power of nature.

Antje Heimsoeth

Certified Engineer, Sport, Performance and Mental Coach & Motivational Trainer
As founder of the Heimsoeth Academy, Antje Heimsoeth trains top athletes, board members and executives. She is one of the best-known mental coaches in the German-speaking world. She was named "Speaker of the Year” in 2014 and 2021. According to the Focus magazine and fellow managers, she is considered "Germany's most renowned motivational trainer". In 2019, she was appointed to the „Senat der Wirtschaft“ and thus part of an exclusive circle of personalities from business, science and society.

Dr. Matthias Catón

Lecturer and Director of Corporate Development at Frankfurt School & Founder of „Professional Speakers Frankfurt“
Matthias Catón is the Director of Corporate Development at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Before taking up his current role, he served as Program Director for the School’s Bachelor (BSc) in Business Administration for more than eight years. A political scientist by training, he has held international positions in various organizations, including academia, an intergovernmental organization, and the World Economic Forum. Matthias likes to connect people and ideas to create innovation and open up perspectives. He is passionate about the nexus between global politics and business and the impact of digital transformation. Matthias founded Professional Speakers Frankfurt, an association that unites experienced speakers in Frankfurt, the Rhine-Main metropolitan region, and beyond.

Elly Oldenbourg

As a corporate manager, entrepreneur, consultant, speaker, university guest lecturer and volunteer worker, Elly has become a public voice and change agent for topics like the Future of Work, DEI and challenging our economic norms. The proud Gen Y and mother of one with a multicultural background has cross-industry experience in global companies in the fields of consulting, sales, marketing and HR for over 18 years. For the past 10 years Elly has been a manager at Google, five of which in part-time and in a jobshare. A rolemodel to many, Elly is passionate about encouraging people and companies to raise braver demands and explore new paradigms regarding the way we work, how we use our time and how we create value. Elly not only walks her talk, she strives to inspire the (working) world to make structural changes for a more equal, a more sustainable, a more digitally future-proof tomorrow.

Erdem Keles

Entrepreneur, Co-Founder, CEO of Fidu Brands & Advocate for finding a risk-free start in self-employment
Erdem Keles is the co-founder and CEO of the brand creation agency, Fidu Brands GmbH. During his bachelor's at TU Darmstadt in industrial economics, he started his own business in the textile industry co-founding the MerchWear brand Lobster & Lemonade Apparel. He continuously grew the business while working full-time for Accenture and simultaneously finishing his MBA at Goethe University Frankfurt. In 2016, after leaving Accenture to fully commit and focus on his own business, he co-founded the brand creation agency, Fidu Brands GmbH, which combines numerous brands, such as Lobster & Lemonade and 101 Supply under one parent company. Throughout his whole founding period, Erdem always practiced his principles of controlled risk, finding a healthy balance between self-employment and financial freedom.

Kristina Vogel

Former Professional Track Cyclist, Olympic Champion and World Champion & Motivational Speaker
Kristina is a former professional track cyclist, Olympic and World Champion and keynote speaker. On the way to her third Olympic Games and towards becoming the best female track cyclist of all time, Kristina suffered a serious injury in 2018. In a collision on the track, she suffered several broken bones, which led to paralysis. Since then, she is standing up to her fate and sharing it with the public as an example. Kristina is committed to sports and is a personal member of the German Olympic Sports Association (DOSB) and the Athlete and Track Commission of the International Cycling Union (UCI). Kristina is also a politician in her local council and a keynote speaker, sharing her story as an inspiration to many others.
