In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aisha Mughal

Aisha Mughal is a Pakistani transgender rights expert and researcher. Aisha has served as the UNDP Expert Consultant to the Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan from May 2019 to February 2021. She has been working for transgender empowerment, health and rights in Pakistan since 2015 and has undertaken innovative and impressive milestones. Aisha has served as a focal person for transgender rights at National commission for Human Rights (NCHR), Government of Pakistan and is a co-founder of Trans led organization & Wajood Society

Aitezaz Ahsan

Chaudhry Aitezaz Ahsan is a Pakistani politician and lawyer. He served two times as the Leader of the House in the Senate of Pakistan from 1994 to 1997 and again from 2012 to 2015. He also served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate. He was elected a member of the Senate of Pakistan from Punjab in 1994. His tenure ended in March 2018.

Amjad Saqib

Dr. Amjad Saqib is a Pakistani social entrepreneur, development practitioner, former civil servant and author. He is the founder and Executive Director of Akhuwat Foundation, which is the world's largest Islamic microfinance organization that provides interest-free loans to the most deserving segments of society. Amjad Saqib is known for his work for social mobilization, poverty alleviation, microfinance, and education management. He has authored nine books which include Akhuwat ka Safar and Molu Musali, which describe his journey in forming Akhuwat and he regularly writes columns in several Pakistani newspapers. He is the recipient of several national and international honors including Sitara-e-Imtiaz, a coveted civil award of Pakistan. He also received "Asia's Nobel Prize" Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2021 for his organization's interest-free loan program.

Chaudhry Fawad Chaudhry

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, scion of Jat family of Vains Clan of district Jhelum, is a lawyer by profession and a politician by passion and lineage. After joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he has been handling media-related issues as Secretary Information of the party. In addition to being Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting, he is also Secretary Information and Central Spokesman for the ruling party.

Masarrat Misbah

Musarrat Misbah, is a Pakistani beautician, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She established Depilex Smile again Foundation, a nonprofit organization. In 2010, she became the recipient of the Pride of Performance award for her contributions in the field of medical treatment and financial aid reportedly provided to the burn and acid attack victims for females in particular. She went to the United Kingdom where she attended Shaw College of Beauty Therapy.

Miftah Ismail

Miftah Ismail is a renowned Businessman & Industrialist, Owner of Ismail Industries. Miftah Ismail is also a politician and political economist who served as Pakistan's Minister of Finance from April 2018 to May 2018. Prior to that, he served as the Federal Adviser on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, chairman of the Pakistan Board of Investment and an economist with the International Monetary Fund.

Nadeem Ul Haque

Dr. Nadeem ul Haque is currently the Vice Chancellor of Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Islamabad. He also served as the Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of Pakistan from 2010-2013. He has wide ranging operational experience in policy development and economic planning. Apart from his work in Pakistan, Nadeem ul Haque worked for the International Monetary Fund for 24 years.

Romela Hameed is a Trainer, Story Teller, Writer, Winner of National Youth Award 2021. She is the Executive Director, SMT: Self-Management Training and Founder, The Untold Stories of Differently-abled.

Umer Hussain

Umer hussain- A serial entraprenuer, Director Umer Textiles which mainly exported knitwear in United States of America. Later founded Sweettooth, which is a cafe with more than 20 locations spread across Pakistan, from Lahore till Hunza, defining skyline of Pakistan. Also Father of Orangeloft, which is a chain if hotels, hostels and glamps across Pakistan with more than 100 locations. A baker, an ice-cream pundit, entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Marketer, adventurer & mountaineer.
