Dr. Hansika Kapoor is a Research Author at the Department of Psychology, Monk Prayogshala. She holds a PhD from IIT, Bombay in the area of dark creativity aka how people get good ideas to do bad things. She is the recipient of the Fulbright-Nehru Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship (2019-2020) and is an Affiliate at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Kapoor has been cited as a subject matter expert in numerous features on social and cognitive psychology in the Indian context. She is a published author, practicing psychologist, and visiting/adjunct faculty at several liberal arts colleges in India.
Kaneenika Sinha is an associate professor in the department of mathematics at IISER Pune. She has done her Ph.D. from Queen’s University in Canada. Dr. Sinha also held postdoctoral positions at the University of Toronto, the University of Alberta, and the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, Berkeley. Her primary research interests are in analytic number theory and arithmetic statistics of modular forms.
A Hindustani Classical Vocalist par excellence, Ronkini Gupta has been the winner of World Series Zee Saregamapa-2004 and has the coveted National merit at the Doverlane Music Conference to her credit. Spreading her wings across genres -She has been nominated twice for the coveted Filmfare Awards in 2018 and 2019 for her massive hits Rafu from Tumhari Sulu and Chaav Laaga from Sui Dhaaga. She has also forayed into Classical Fusion with her band "The Kheyaal E Jazz Projekt” and has won two Artist Aloud Awards for the same in 2016 and 2017.
Trained under the guidance of Shri Chandrakant Apteji, of the Gwalior Gharana- her first Guru, she took up music as her way of life rather young. She has further been nurtured under the tutelage of Ustad Dilshad Khan, Pt Samaresh Chowdhury, and Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan Sahab. She is currently studying under the guidance of a dynamic exponent of Kirana Gharana Arshad Ali Khan.
While being trained under the influence of the glorious Gwalior and Kirana style of, gayiki, Ronkini has always been drawn to other different styles and her favorite artists include Ganasaraswati Kishori Amonkar, Pt. Ajoy Chakroborty and Ustad Rashid Khan Sahab, and these influences have led her to emerge with a distinct approach and sound to her musical explorations.
Veethika Mishra is a Senior Product Designer at Gitlab and has spent a big part of her career shaping the experience for Open Source softwares. She enjoys making technology accessible to all and advocates for the involvement of designers in the open-source movement. Currently, Veethika is also contributing to a Grant for the Web grantee project as a designer to educate netizens/creators on how to make the right choices when looking to monetize their content over the web.
