x = independently organized TED event

This event occurred on
November 3, 2021
München, Bayern
Germany

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

_ Saguru

Musician
The beginning of the day. The light, the autumn, the depth: Saguru writes songs that hold great width. Songs that are melancholically dark, but also always contain a sense of departure, a view, clarity and lightness. The moment after the rain.

Anna Goldhhofer

Sustainability expert and activist
She speaks as a sustainability expert and activist. She studied industrial engineering, what creates the basis for her broad understanding of materials, lifecycles, resource management and recycling possibilities. She understands herself as a young global citizen, aligning her daily doings with the UNs Sustainable Development Goals. Anna is highly committed to take action, to learn, to empower and to develop solutions which positively impact the future of our planet and its people. Her utmost believe is that regarding the state our planet is in, it is important to question whether what we do in our everyday life has a positive impact on the world.

Rebecca Freitag

Co-founder of the Global Impact Alliance
She is the former German UN Youth Delegate on Sustainable Development and the current Ambassador for the Rights for Future Generations, and therefore is an expert on the Sustainable Development Goals, an advocate for the young and future generations and a visionary for the future. Her mission is to inspire people to be part of the needed sustainable transformation and introduce new perspectives for creating our future. Rebecca co-founded the Global Impact Alliance, an association of purpose-driven companies, to promote solutions that are already in practice. In the academic world, she also asks herself how sustainability can best be communicated and motivated for implementation. She is designing an interdisciplinary sustainability course at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences.
