In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

In a media career spanning nearly two decades, he was part of or led the newsrooms of Mid Day, The Bombay Times, The Maharashtra Herald and The Hindustan Times. In 2011, he was in Afghanistan as part of a UNAID project to train first-generation Afghan journalists. He continues to write for national and international publications and has been a frequently called upon expert for the Australia Broadcasting Corporation’s radio service. He is the host of the renowned All Indians Matter podcast, which has featured and topped the charts of various platforms, such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, JioSaavn, Gaana and Wynk.
