In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Angaye Seimokumo

Software Developer
Angaye Seimokumo is a software developer and roboticist. He is the founder of Golden Viosam Nigeria Limited, an ICT company fronting his interest in ICT development in Bayelsa and has therefore seen to the training of children and young adults in the field of science and technology. Mr. Angaye obtained his master's degree in oil and gas management from Conventry University, UK, and has since been an avid teacher of robotics and programming.

Anthony Owei

Agricultural Investor
Anthony Owei is an award winning entrepreneur in the agriculture and technology space. He founded ePoultry.NG in 2019, a digital agriculture platform that solve the challenges of access to finance, access to market and life skills for smallholder farmers. Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Finance from United States International University. He is an MBA Food Security candidate at Business School Netherlands as an Orange Knowledge Programme scholar, a fully funded Dutch Government Scholarship. Recognized by President Obama as an Obama Leader in 2019 for his work in the food security space, he was also named among Top 20 Young Innovators by RUFORUM in 2019. In 2020, he was named Top 40 under 40 CEOs Africa and Top 35 under 35 most outstanding young Africans and is also a fellow of the Westerwelle Foundation, Germany.

David Omisakin

Healthcare Provider
David Omisakin is a Doctor in training at NDUTH. He has certifications as a primary health care provider with Postgraduate Institute of Medicine and Basic Life with National Health Care Provider Solutions. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of GOF Mastermind LTD, a registered Company with twelve business subsidiaries and practices. From Ife-Central, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, David Omisakin has lead different religious organizations successfully as a Pastor and public speaker for a good number of years. As a full time self educator, through materials of texted and trusted leaders and authors he has learned to think broad and now studies to affect the three dimensional personalities of mankind, spirit through divine inspirations, body through healthcare and soul through teachings.

Ebidenyefa Tarila Nikade

Educationist
Ebidenyefa Tarila Nikade is the Director of Creative Xpressions International, Organizers of Spelling Bee Bayelsa, the biggest spelling competition in these parts. A seasoned educator with experience spanning over a decade, she holds a B.Ed and an M.A in English studies from the institute of education, Ibadan (RSCOE) and University of Port Harcourt respectively. Ebidenyefa Tarila Nikade is the author of ‘Vulnerable Chronicles’, a novel and ‘These Words Are Not Mine’, a poetry collection.

Grace Ukpevie

SDG Advocate
Grace Ukpevie is the founder of Hilarity World Foundation, an organization promoting the economic and social inclusion of people living with disability and helping underprivileged people live better lives. Through sustainable development projects, her organization has freely distributed sanitary pads to thousands of girls in poor communities, while advocating for responsible community action. Most recently, Grace has dedicated her time to helping individuals and victims of different forms of sexual assault fix their ‘broken selves’.

Weni Kokinobo Igirigi

Environmental Sociologist
Weni Kokinobo Igirigi is the Bayelsa State Team Lead of the World's Largest Lesson on SDGs. An Environmental Sociologist and Development Knowledge Facilitator, Weni is a social researcher with a focus on socio-environmental issues and more recently on mental health and the university community. He is also a lecturer in the department of Sociology & Anthropology, Niger Delta University.
