Anthony Dzamefe

Inventor; Cavemen Watches
Anthony Dzamefe is The CEO of Caveman Watches and Timepiece GH the mastermind of Ghana’s only watch-making brand. Prior to owning his own company and producing watches, Anthony Mensah Dzamefe, began life as a Marketing Officer for a hotel in Accra. Despite the obvious hurdles ahead and the expected truncation of monthly income inflow, Anthony Mensah Dzamefe, took the bold decision to quit his 9 to 5 job. Anthony’s 6-year-old business first began after he bought the watch and posted it on his WhatsApp status. The adorable piece attracted the interest of a contact, who called to inquire and asked to buy. Adding a profit margin, he sold the piece and went back to buy more and resell. And from one to two, he sold hundred more of timepieces and birthed his company, TimePiece GH He was named as the overall Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 and the Emerging Brand of the Year by the Young Achievers Summit 2019.

Grace Quarshie

Grace Quarshie is one of the most Empowerment Conference Speakers in Africa , Coach, and Author of I Kissed my job goodbye, How I went from Joblessness to owning a Successful Business and living a fulfilled life, a book she self published in 2020 during the Covid 19 Pandemic. From a laid off employee, Grace's resilience and determination has inspired a lot of women worldwide and empowered them to overcome their fears and self-sabotage to become the woman they want to be. She is an expert in empowering and equipping African Women to unleash their possibilities and potential by monetizing their expertise, experience ,speak and write their stories to create global impact. She has trained over 500 women to experience this through her coaching framework, Discover, Develop, Deploy and Demand. As a result of this her coaching client experienced a total transformation that moved them from where they are to where they want to be in life .

H.E Anne Sophie Avé

France Ambassador to Ghana
Born in Fontainebleau 10 November 1968, HE Anne Sophie Avé is graduated from an MBA, civil law and psychology. At 22, became a consultant and vocational trainer in a private company, then oved to a Multimedia company as sales and production director till 2002. In 2012, she joined the ministry of defense as Social Counsellor to the minister and in 2016, as Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence in charge of 280 000 staff both militaries and civilians. She was appointed ambassador of France to Ghana in September 2018. She created and hosted the double award winning Touch of France TV show, France and France in Ghana. She was enstooled a queen mother in Tain. The unconventional “diplomat of the year 2021” is a formernational gymnast and semi-professional dancer. She speaks French, English, German and Dutch, reads Russian and learns Twi. She is knight of the French national order of Merit and of the Legion of Honor.

Kobby Andah

has been the Managing Director for BANK OF AFRICA GHANA since 2011. He has over 35 years’ experience in the finance and banking industry. He has Ghanaian and international experience having worked for KPMG, Securities Discount Company Ltd, The Trust Bank in Ghana and for Belgolaise Banque in London and Brussels, Sterling Bank Plc, Nigeria, and Bank of Africa Tanzania Ltd. His experience in Strategy Formulation & Implementation and People Management. Kobby is a Chartered Accountant and has an MBA in Finance and Banking from University of Wales, Bangor, and the Manchester Business School. Kobby has a special interest in International Trade Finance and SME Development. This personal desire has seen him steer the BANK OF AFRICA to position itself as the bank that supports SMEs and Cross Border Trade businesses. Under his exceptional leadership, the Bank has moved from a loss-making position to a Bank that now pays dividends to its shareholders.

Kuukua Eshun

Kuukua Eshun is a Ghanaian-American creative who splits her time between Ohio and her home Accra. Inspired by emotions and femininity, Kuukua raises awareness about social issues and mental health through her writing and film. She’s a Multi award-winning filmmaker. Kuukua Eshun’s strong visual storytelling ability has led to a very successful career in the last couple of years. By taking full ownership of her sensitivity, Kuukua carries her tenderness as a strength through consciously and unconsciously tapping into stories that come from a place of restoration and power in vulnerability. Her Film ‘Artist, Act of Love’ won an award at the Worldwide Women’s Films Festival for Best Visual Effect Her films have been screened at many Academy Award- Qualifying Film festivals around the world. Recently, she directed a short film for the Grammy nominated album “Made In Lagos Deluxe” by the super star Wizkid, a Granny award winning artist. The 1st of it’s kind from the African continent.

Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE

Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE is the President and Founder of the Grow Unite, Build, Africa (GUBA) Enterprise. GUBA is a social enterprise organisation dedicated to the advancement of diaspora Africans and Africans back home through various socio –economic programs and initiatives. A woman of diverse talent, Dentaa is a dynamic figure within the British/ Ghanaian football industry under ‘the Speak to Dentaa’ agency. Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE is a multi-hyphenate with years of experience in the acquisition of funding, deal brokering, lobbying and facilitating diaspora development. She is the current Liaison Executive Officer for the Greenwich-Tema Meridian Link,. The focus for Lady Dentaa has always been to encourage an exchange of business, skills, culture and support within the African Diaspora and the African continent. She is a Board Member for the Ghana Tourism Authority and the International Diaspora Relations Manager for the Asante Kotoko sports club.

Noel Nii Nortei Narku

Screenwriter
Noel Nortei, popularly referred to as Nii Narku is an independent filmmaker and screenwriter. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Ghana, he worked as a playwright for Light Productions where he teamed with Mr Aaron Badger to write and direct four stage plays in the last five years. In 2020, he started Nii Narku Studios, a filmmaking studio with the sole purpose of contributing to the movie industry on the continent. Nii Narku is a self-taught screenwriter who prides in lifelong learning. He was adjudged the Best Short Screenwriter in the just ended Filmfest International Film Festival. As a collectivist, Nii Narku is committed to promoting community growth. Currently, he works with Volta Sports in La, a suburb of Accra, where they ensure young footballers have adequate education before commencing their professional football careers. They run a holistic program which includes formal education and fitness training.

Okyeame Kwame

Artist and Activist
Kwame Nsiah Apau, known popularly as Okyeame Kwame (OK), is an award-winning musician. For 25 years, he has been recording and performing progressive music that brings joy, happiness and development to his audience. Conscious of the eminent need to spread love in the world, the lyricist consistently churns out songs with didactic themes which are poetic and familyfriendly. He goes beyond soothing the ears and calming the spirit with his music and throws his gravitas behind developmental activities and nationbuilding agenda. Kwame's ability to stay relevant over two decades shows evidence of his hardworking / teamplaying spirit and leadership. that he has been acknowledged and awarded by The Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu, Mayor Cranley, president of Ghana, Barack Obama, as well institutions like World Bank, UNICEF, National Commission on Culture and Worldreader and many more. As a writer, Okyeame Kwame has co-authored two books with his wife; Love Locked Down.

Roberta Annan

Roberta Annan is an award-winning businesswoman. She was the youngest African to be inducted into the African Leadership Hall of Fame. Annan is the owner of Annan Capital Partners, an investment company in Sub-Saharan Africa, and of RACP, a portfolio of assets in sustainable hospitality, agribusiness and sustainable luxury in Africa. Passionate about developing business opportunities for women in Africa, she started the African Fashion Fund in 2014 to empower African designers to access the global fashion industry and market. She is also the co-founder of Impact Fund For African Creatives—a fund that invests in creative businesses across Africa, in partnership with UN-ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative.

Thomas Mensah

Chemical Engineer
Known as one of the great minds of the 21st century, Dr Thomas Mensah attended Adisadel College, Cape Coast, Ghana, and obtained his first degree in chemical engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. Life then changed for the better for him after he received a French government scholarship to study at Montpellier University in France. While at Montpellier, he participated in a programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, USA in 1977, and received a certificate in the modelling and simulation of chemical processes from MIT. A year later, he obtained his PhD in chemical engineering from Montpellier University, and life has never been the same again. Mensah emigrated to the US after his PhD studies, and worked at Air Products and Chemicals in Allentown, Pennsylvania, before moving on to Corning Glass Works in New York, where he worked on fibre optic research at Sullivan Park.
