Dr. Louiza Rodrigues

Environmental Historian

Dr. Louiza Rodrigues is the Head of the Department of History and has a Ph.D. in Environmental History. Her area of interest and specialization includes Urban History, Genealogy, Modern India, and Heritage of Mumbai. Over 30 research papers and articles written by her are published in journals of national and international repute. Dr. Rodrigues is also the chief author of two books and a recipient of many national awards such as the Best Research Paper Award by the Indian History Congress.
