Carey Sykes

Board Member, We Love Philly
Carey Sykes is known around Philadelphia and surrounding areas as "LJ Da Clown", or "LJ Da Reff". Carey is Philly activist who stands up for issues he believes in as seen on news outlet FOX 29. As a student at One Bright Ray Community High School and a board member for the non-profit organization We Love Philly, Carey sees himself as a bridge to the gap between students and faculty. Carey’s goal is to not only to grow We Love Philly’s impact, but to spread their message across the world.

Carlos Aponte

Founder, We Love Philly
Carlos Aponte is a lifelong Philadelphian who traces his culture to the Island of Puerto Rico. Carlos is formerly an educator at One Bright Ray Community High School(OBRCHS) with a background in Secondary Education with a concentration in African American and American History. For the past eight years he has brought many extra-curricular activities to the school community. Recently, Carlos started his own 501c3 non-profit organization, We Love Philly, that teaches volunteerism, entrepreneurship, meditation, ownership, and content creation to youth left behind by mainstream institutions. After completion of the program students earn credits towards their high school diploma.

Steve Stotts

Inventor and Author
Steve "The Legacy" Stotts is the Founder & CEO of Steve The Legacy LLC. Steve is an inventor, author and limiting belief specialist. A highly sought after motivational speaker, 2x author and educational consultant. He helps entrepreneurs connect their beliefs with their business practices by using research-based mental strategies, components of self and life experiences. Steve's purpose in life is to motivate, inspire, and empower entrepreneurs around the world to believe in themselves in everything they do. Steve, known to his friends as Steve The Legacy, learned his speaking techniques from the late great Jim Rohn. Steve holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Cheyney University. He has spent the last five years developing his mind to help navigate his limiting beliefs into unlimiting beliefs. Presenting for students, athletes, entrepreneurs, and providing in person or virtual presentations, professional development workshops, and coaching mentee's on self mastery.

Sylvie Gallier Howard

Founder & CEO, Equitable Cities Consulting
Sylvie Gallier Howard is Founder & CEO of Equitable Cities Consulting, a practice focused on expanding the field and impact of inclusive, equitable economic development. Sylvie Gallier Howard has extensive experience leading organizations and diverse teams in the non-profit, private and public sectors. In her most recent tenure as Acting Commerce Director and as a cabinet member of Philadelphia’s City government, she spearheaded strategic planning and implementation processes for the City in areas of inclusive growth, workforce development, equitable entrepreneurship and economic recovery. Sylvie has a B.A. in International relations from Barnard College of Columbia University and an M.A. in Sociology from Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Ecuador - a graduate school started by the United Nations Development Program to promote development in Latin America.
