In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

The European School DP student from 11th grade
Alexandre Gadelia Is a DP student at the European school. His hobbies are playing and watching basketball and football, he likes to watch movies and series. In the future, he wants to become a bioengineer. He hopes he will reach his goal with hard work and dedication.

Anastasia Gobianidze

The European School DP student from 11th grade
Anastasia Gobianidze is a 16-year-old student, who has been studying at the European School, since the very first grade. She is truly creative, fun-loving, inquiring, honest, detail-oriented, and people-person. Anastasia likes trying out new things, diversifying her knowledge by reading, traveling, exploring the world, and overcoming challenges. She aspires to become a professional PR-Marketing specialist in the future.

Dachi Darchidze

The European School DP student from 11th grade
Dachi Darchidze is the European School DP student from 11th grade. He is not a basic teenager who loves playing video games or soccer, but is interested in some worldwide issues which he thinks must be solved. He is glad that he was given a chance to attend conferences worldwide, which made him realize that he gained enough experience and knowledge to be more educated about global issues and more importantly, is ready to share them with us.

Elene Geladze

The European School DP student from 11th grade
Elene Geladze is DP student at the European School who in the future wants to study economics and business management. Elene has been a dancer at the Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet for 10 years and enjoys playing tennis in her free time. Elene loves helping orphanages and last year managed to accomplish her first big success and created a project which grew her determination and raised awareness on the importance of helping orphanages.

Mariam Saakashvili

The European School Georgian Program student from 11th grade
Mariam Saakashvili is the European School student from Georgian Program, grade 11. She loves to take part in challenges, so always tries to be actively involved in various events. Mariam loves reading, taking photos, and cooking. One of her life goals is to help people.

Nino Tedoradze

The European School AHS student from 10th grade
Nino Tedoradze is a 10th grader from the European School American High School. As a kid, she wanted to be an actress. When she grew her goal changed, however, she still enjoys acting. Being motivated to find herself, Nino tried lots of hobbies. This summer she discovered that she liked reading books, as well as editing videos and photos. Right now, she is more into learning and has less free time to uncover her passions, but as she finds time, who knows what Nino will think of, to keep herself busy?

Niyaz Mahdavi

The European School DP student from 11th grade
Niyaz Mahdavi is the European School DP student from 11th grade. She has always been engaged in extracurricular activities: music and dance. She also enjoys reading, which reflects on her enthusiasm for discussing different perspectives on different topics. She is considering pursuing psychology in the future, wanting to learn more about how people come to such different ways of thinking. Overall, Niyaz wishes to make a positive impact somehow, leaving something for the future!
