At our TEDxRutgersCamden event, we will combine live speakers, performances, and TED Talks to spark deep discussions and connections. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

The theme for our event is "Brand New Ending", originated from the quote, “We can’t go back and make a brand new beginning, but we can start now and make a brand new ending.”

Ai Addyson-Zhang

Dr. Ai Addyson-Zhang has devoted her professional career to education, working with teenagers and young adults to help them step outside their comfort zones, achieve the best versions of themselves, and become career- and life-ready.

Angeline Dziegrenuk

An aspiring activist and entrepreneur, Angeline Dziegrenuk is a student of many interests and hobbies looking forward to breaking into the fashion industry. While studying at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology for Fashion Decoration and Design in high school, she became the first student in a wheelchair to design and model her own clothing for her academy’s annual fashion shows. She also became the titleholder of Junior Miss Wheelchair New Jersey for the Year 2020 and 2021. After gaining experience in the fashion industry, Angeline dreams of launching an adaptive clothing line to promote self expression and independence for the disabled community.

Bisleen Attli

Dr. Bisleen Attli, ND is a Naturopathic Doctor who wants to change the way we approach mental health care. She helps people overcome their negative thinking through her Positivity Reset Protocol. She also supports her community by presenting workshops where she educates others on the tools they need to build their resiliency and create an unbreakable mindset. Dr. Attli, ND believes that the key to great mental health is by focusing on building long-term happiness systems in our lives.

Bonnie Low-Kramen

Bonnie Low-Kramen is an international speaker, bestselling author, and the founder and CEO of Ultimate Assistant Training. A celebrity assistant for 25 years to Oscar winning actress Olympia Dukakis, Bonnie is an award-winning speaker who empowers staff and executives alike to build ultimate partnerships that are both mutually respectful and highly profitable. Her work was featured in a Forbes 2019 cover story and her ‘Be the Ultimate Assistant’ workshop has been named in the Top 7 Conferences to Attend since 2018. Dubbed ‘The Assistant Whisperer,’ her book, “Be the Ultimate Assistant,” is considered a must-have resource for every assistant.

Kristen Donnelly

Kristen Donnelly (MSW, M.Div, PhD) is a TEDx speaker, international empathy educator, and researcher with two decades of experience in helping people understand the beauty in difference, and the power in inclusivity. She is one of The Good Doctors of Abbey Research, COO of their parent company, and an unapologetic nerd for stories of change. Dr. Donnelly lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, where they are surrounded by piles of books and several video game consoles.

Malaika Mahmood

Malaika Mahmood is currently an undergraduate student at Rutgers University Camden pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in chemistry and mathematics. Since the age of seven, she has had a passion for public speaking and drive to help communities. She is actively serving her as President of the Student Wellness Advisory Board and Vice President of Biology Club. Along with this, her enthusiasm for science has led her to conduct various innovative research projects. Her experience with bridging religion in science has led her on a mission to revolutionize research and the way we approach problems.

Marie-Elizabeth Mali

As a Relationship Alchemist and two-time TEDx Speaker, Marie-Elizabeth Mali shows people how to deepen love and connection in their relationships. Drawing on her Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine and over 20 years of client work, she teaches people how to be authentic in their relationships instead of shrinking themselves to fit in. Her work has been featured in Thrive Global, SWAAY, and Forbes. She also has an MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and is the author of one book of poetry, Steady, My Gaze (Tebot Bach, 2011) and co-editor with Annie Finch of the anthology, Villanelles (Everyman's Library Pocket Poets, 2012).

Oscar Holmes IV

Oscar Holmes IV is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, an Associate Professor of Management, and the RUSE Director at Rutgers School of Business-Camden. Additionally, he is the founder and CEO of WHConsulting Firm LLC and creator and host of ‘Diversity Matters’ podcast. His research examines how leaders can maximize productivity and well-being through fostering more inclusive environments and has been published in several top-tier management journals and books. He earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Management from The University of Alabama, M.L.A. from The University of Richmond, and a B.S. with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is also an alumni of Stanford University's Graduate School of Business Summer Institute in General Management.

Priyal Shah

Priyal Shah is currently an undergraduate student enrolled in the 7-year BS/DO program at Rutgers University-Camden. She is an aspiring Sports Medicine physician with the goal to connect, communicate, and collaborate effectively with patients and communities to drive change and innovation. As a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), she volunteers at Woodbridge EMS squad. On campus, she is the Treasurer of South Asian Appreciation for Tradition and Heritage (SAATH) and a member of the Student Wellness Advisory Board. Priyal strongly believes that with her passion, purpose, and 5C approach to leadership, she is ready to become a great leader to drive meaningful change.

Sinead Bovell

Sinead Bovell is a futurist and the founder WAYE, a tech education company that prepares youth for a future with advanced technologies. To date, Sinead has educated over 100,000 young entrepreneurs on the future of technology, and has spoken at world renowned institutions including the United Nations, Cornell University, and Bloomberg on the intersection of business, technology, and the future.

Wayne Pernell

Dr. Wayne Pernell, known as The Exponential Success Coach, is also a highly sought speaker, Amazon #1 International Best-Selling Author, blogger, and podcast host. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and has over three decades of experience in helping accomplished leaders optimize their Mind State and up level their Excellence resulting in greater profitability, presence, and impact. Dr. Pernell is the president of DynamicLeader®, Inc. He is a member of the Forbes Business Council, a two-time TEDx Speaker, has been featured in the Television series SpeakUp, and is regularly seen on NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, and The CW, as well as heard on radio and podcasts around the world.

Yasmine Cheyenne

Yasmine Cheyenne is a self-healing educator, author, speaker, and mental wellness advocate who helps people learn how to cultivate daily practices to build healthy, joyful lives. With an online community of over 150K and as the host of The Sugar Jar Podcast, corporate giants including ABC, Meta (Instagram), and Skillshare have invited Yasmine to share her transformative teachings around self-healing which she also offers through keynote speeches, corporate presentations, and one-on-one coaching. Yasmine believes in “Self-healing For Everyone™” and launched The Sugar Jar® Community app, a safe space to develop self-awareness, learn boundaries, and find resources to support your mental health.
