"We came whirling out of nothingness scattering stars like dust. The stars made a circle and in the middle we dance"
-Jalaluddin Rumi
The first chapter of TEDxMirandaHouse was launched this year with a belief in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and, ultimately, the world. With the panoramic theme of “Whirling Out”, our event is all about exploring the bigger picture and widening one’s horizons. With an enthusiastic team of students from varying backgrounds, we aim to offer a holistic experience through this conference and contribute our bit to the celebration of humanity.

The theme whirling out indicates outward movement, a transition from the narrow to the wide. Whirling out could be interpreted in numerous ways, whirling out of convention, breaking free, broadening one's understanding of something, exploring the bigger picture or widening the scope of a concept or activity. Whirling out indicates a journey, a journey from the limited to the endless, from entrapment to freedom, from exclusivity to inclusivity, from conformity to rebellion.
