Theme: Secondary and Higher Education during the Pandemic

This event occurred on
September 18, 2021
Walnut, California
United States

We invite high school, college, and related individuals in the Walnut and the surrounding areas to share their perspectives, and insights during the pandemic. During the lock down, social distancing measures were mandated, forcing all of us to make major adjustments to fit the new norm. We had to change the way we learned, the way we ate, the way we shopped, the way we entertained ourselves, and the way we socialized. Some of us faced great difficulties and severe challenges during the pandemic, ranging from the death of loved ones to mental health issues, food insecurity to threats of racially motivated violence. We want to provide a place where interested speakers can voice their experiences and explore what they have learned in these unprecedented times. We encourage all members of the Walnut Valley community to listen to the voices of the youth.
