TEDxUniversityofKhartoum event in Khartoum, Sudan. Is an annual event to inspire the community through the students, teachers, and graduates of the University of Khartoum, and achieve the TED theme "Ideas Worth Spreading". We're determined to harness the innovation & creativity from our local community and put it on the TEDx stage.
The theme of this year's conference is to live a life you will remember , Every person has a special life and dreams, which we must cherish and strive for
Celebrating our UofKers and their ideas that are worth spreading, we are looking for originality and clarity in an idea that can be presented via our platform in 18 minutes, as well as maintaining the guideline from the TEd community that no talks should address religion or politics.

Fay Elhassan

Fay is the vice president of both IEEE Sudan and Arab Women in Computing Office, a PMP degree holder, and a data scientist at Dal Group. Also, Fay published multiple times about Artificial Intelligence. Fay always seeks to reflect the skills of the Sudanese women in various fields. As she believes that at times, women can be the solution, and at other times, women can be the key to the solution.

Lina Emad

e start as students, then we become something else. Whether you're a student or not, the biggest question is, how do you become a student?" Said Lina Emad. Lina Emad is an architecture student at the University of Khartoum. She’s a member of the Arhectora Art Group, a researcher, and the secretary at the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE UofK 2021-2022). In order to become a student, Lina believes that specific skills are required, and people should do whatever helps them gain those skills. However, as for Lina, tea has always been very helpful with this process.

Mohamed Adam Musa is a fashion designer and Industrial engineer who has graduated from Sudan University of science and technology, faculty of industrial engineering. He is the Co-founder of (Black Craft) for leather goods, owner and founder of (Peter & Black's) brand for high-end leather pieces, a stylist, a handcrafting expert for more than 6 years,

Why it does not seem to be moving forward with all its capabilities. How can we get out of this crisis, and how can we keep up with the constantly changing world

Mozafar Mohammed Saeed

"Oh Son of Adam, God created you differently, and by your lord, confess your difference! Live free, Son of Adam; this is a land for all!" This phrase is chosen by our first speaker as a way of expressing the main idea of his talk. Mozafar Mohammed Saeed is a student at the Sudan University of Science and Technology. He is an inventor, representative of Sudan in international competitions, and a voluntary work activist. Mozafar believes that regardless of the surrounded conditions and environment, everyone must continuously try to improve themselves in all life aspects. Thus, he chose the Kaizen Skill as the title of his talk. Kaizen is a Japanese term that means Change for the Better!

Randa Al-Tameh

Founder of the initiative (What We Know For Sure) for psychological support, certified trainer with more than 400 hours of experience in youth training, certified leader by the African Youth Leaders Initiative, wrote several scientific researchs, and is the former national coordinator of the Office of Public Health of the Federal Federation of Medical Students 2019- 2020. Randa thinks that trauma can turn into a blessing , she believes that adversity can help us gain mental flexibility, facing all the difficulties and problems we encounter in our lives we surely get stronger. In order to gain this grace, appreciate and adapt to adversity and difficult circumstances

Samar Abdel Aziz; Al-Fateh Secondary Private Schools student , invented an ultrasound device to help people with special needs, (Smart Glove).
