In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Emmy Hyndman

My name is Emmy Hyndman. I am sixteen years old and I attend Castlederg High School. Reading, writing, and music are examples of the many things which are important to me. I believe Imagination is vital to opening the mind. Goals and ambitions, entering a creative mindset, or simply enjoying free time, imagination plays a role in it all. I aim to inspire. Inspire individuals to reach for the stars, grasp their goal, and achieve their dream. I am a thorough believer that if you put your mind to it, it can be achieved. Nothing is impossible.
