In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dylan Kim

Dylan Kim is a 17-year-old, Korean-American Entrepreneur currently living in Hà Nội, Vietnam. Apart from his professional career, he is a tech-lover, reading enthusiast, and a competitive swimmer. Starting his career as a game developer in the sixth grade, he has received many accolades during his tenure as a Roblox Game Developer. Accumulating over 11 million total player visits in his projects, his latest project 'Infection Mystery' received the spotlight on March 2021. In September 2021, he was nominated and selected as one of 18 teenagers on Vietnam's 18 under 18. His nomination stemmed from his works empowering local youth to pursue passions with tech and social entrepreneurship. His current interests lie in social and technological intersections, specifically to bridge the digital divide. With constant innovation in technology, those that do not get adequate education for equitable tech-literacy is a problem he aims to fix with his entrepreneurial ventures. He is currently co-founder and CEO of Lessun, an edTech startup that aims to revolutionize collaborative learning; Co-founder of Opticle, a technology company aimed to bridge the digital divide through equitable tech-literacy; Co-founder at Mad for Stem, a non-profit aimed to empower students to pursue stem-based entrepreneurial endeavors and bring change to the world.

Jeongha Kim

Jeongha is a senior at the United Nations International School of Hanoi. A Korean American living in Vietnam, he has been fascinated by the common history between the US, Korea, and Vietnam. His interest in history and geopolitics came from his involvement in competitive debate where he has been on Vietnam's national team for the past 3 years.

Yoomee Shin

Yoomee, a senior at United Nations International School of Hanoi, is a student leader of Bluebells, a mental health hotline providing free listening services to teenagers in Vietnam. After gaining exposure to her friend's struggle with depression, Yoomee has been an active advocate for destigmatizing the topic of mental health and increasing the accessibility of support systems and resources for teens struggling with the issue.
