The countdown is a bold, global movement to find ways to rapidly shift to a world with net-zero greenhouse emissions and tackle the climate crisis. Everyone is invited to participate: communities, schools, universities, businesses, nonprofits, and city representative offices. TED is working with incredible networks on a series of events in 2021 to ignite ideas, showcase solutions, and drive action locally.

TEDxTehran has joined the Countdown to bring it to its community and to give Tehran its own TEDx Countdown event featuring original content and local talks and activities.
