Theme: Backspace+

Backspace+ is our nod to the stories untold, the ideas held back, the words unspoken. It's about those bursts of emotion we've held back, victims to the fickle minded nature of the mob.
Its time to acknowledge these voices, and truly listen, without bias or judgement.

Its about our yearning to wipe the slate clean, and start afresh.
It's about the stories that people tend to gloss over, but have an underlying depth that merits a second glance.
It's about the adversity, the stumbling blocks that life is fraught with, that set you back and leave you broken but wiser, and it's about the journey you make to climb back up.
It's about our desire to backspace out the seeming inevitability of a dreary dystopia, that looms in the shadows of a rising pandemic, and instead, take our first wobbly steps to the future, held up by a will unbroken and a dream tinged with hope.
We're listening.

Liny Babu

Social Activist

Born and raised in the UAE, Ms. Liny returned to India in 2013 and after her graduation, began to pursue social activism in 2017. She has addressed more than 15,000 students across various colleges in Mysore, Bangalore, Mumbai and Cochin on youth ethical issues and has trained over a 100 NGO volunteers. Liny aspires to raise up a generation of young Indians who will stand for the truth and fight against the contemporary evils of today's society.

Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani

A commerce graduate from Chandigarh. Moved to Mumbai post graduation and did a film and tv course from XIC, Mumbai. Landed a job for a non-fiction series with BBC Uk. From there on went on to work in the tv industry on a show called shh koi hai as an exec producer. Switched to films with Rang De Basanti where I joined as an AD. Went on to work on more films before joining KWAN ent where I set up the very successful film casting division and managed about 45 celebrities. Quit to join Dharma productions as a creative developer. Eventually started out as an independent producer with Saand Ki Aankh and now making films under my own banner called Chalk n cheese films production LLP which I own with my husband Tushar Hiranandani. Chalk n cheese has three feature films lined up which will be presented by T-series over the next couple of years.

Shalini Kutti

Shalini Kutty is an exorbitantly talented brand strategist who also runs her own multi-faceted Instagram page aiming at mindful content, amidst increasingly unrealistic beauty standards. Currently the Head of Design and Community Engagement at FAE BEAUTY, she holds an MSc in International Business with a focus on Branding from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
