In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dominik Philipp

Architect & sustainable building expert
Dominik Philipp is an architect and Managing Partner at Dietrich I Untertrifaller. He is a member of the board of IG LebensCycle Bau and part of the Lungau design advisory board. In his teaching assignments at various institutes, he supervises master's students and conveys topics in the fields of sustainability and architecture, sustainable construction management (Carinthia University of Applied Sciences), project management ('Überholz' course at the University of Art and Design Linz), hybrid wood construction (Donau Uni Krems), cooperation models in timber construction (Vienna University of Applied Sciences Campus) and BIM and timber construction (DGNB Academy). As a specialist in the field of digitization, BIM and timber construction, change management and agile design processes, he regularly gives lectures at home and abroad.

Eva Keiffenheim

Education expert
Eva has dedicated her career to being a catalyst for change that isn't dependent solely on educational reform but on techniques and tools that can be used today by anyone who wants to improve their learning outcomes. Eva works as an independent consultant with EdTechs, and NGOs and has founded the Speed Up, Buddy! to support first-gen students. She has hundreds of articles on learning, which have been read by over 2 million curious minds. Prior to this, she was a middle school teacher and has lived in Argentina, China, Chile, India, Germany, and the US. She is based in Vienna, Austria. Heike Haas

Graphic recording & artist
Heike Haas was born in Munich and founded the Atelier für Kunst & Kommunikation in 2014. Since then she has combined her two professional passions and travels all over Germany as an illustrator and graphic recorder. Her specialty is strategy and project visualization, in which she depicts internal communication and strategy processes in the big picture. Heike's most recent book "Drawing Figures from the Hip" was published by mitp in 2020. Since June 2020, Heike has been a board member of the Illustratoren Organization e. v.

Jakob Busch

Singer & songwriter
Jakob Busch's musical journey, previously known as "JackTheBusch", began last summer with his own songs. Motivated by the online success of his works (over 2 million views and streams (Youtube/Spotify), top 40 of the airplay charts in Austria, etc.), he presented his debut album "GEDANKENLAND" in autumn 2021. On his debut work, the man with the rough voice shows himself to be versatile - from danceable electro pop to acoustic ballads, from thoughtful to angry, from dieting on foreign words to new beginnings in relationships.

Karin Huber-Heim

Circular economy expert
Karin Huber-Heim is co-founder and director of the Circular Economy Forum Austria and an expert in the field of circular economy. She has been working intensively on the topic of sustainability for years and works in a stakeholder-centric manner. She tries to combine ethics, communication and creativity in the best possible way. Its goal is to promote cooperation for sustainable development with the Circular Economy Forum. She also initiated "nudging4sustainability", a co-creating research & design lab for companies.

Kurt Matzler

Kurt Matzler is Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Innsbruck and scientific director of the Executive MBA program at the MCI in Innsbruck. He deals with the topics of innovation, leadership and strategy. He is the author or editor of more than 20 books (including "Innovator's Dilemma", "Digital Disruption", and currently "Open Strategy"). Kurt Matzler has received numerous scientific awards and is a multiple team finisher of the "Race Across America", one of the toughest ultra cycle races in the world.

Lara Nösslböck

Dancer & DJ
Lara Nösslböck aka Helix is a dancer with origins in Hofkirchen im Mühlkreis. Lara has been living in Linz for 3 years and works alongside her studies as a dancer, dance teacher, DJ and event organizer. She's been dancing all her life, and got into hip-hop in 2015. Since then she has been intensively training HipHop Freestyle and House, and is on the road in battles and jams all over Austria and internationally. Since 2019 she has been part of the Artist Collective AllAuthentic and in 2021 she organized the Cyph'N'Sound Battle together with her team.

Martin Öller

Entrepreneur & innovator
Martin Öller is the founder and CEO of the Loxone Group. Together with his co-founder Thomas Moser, he wants to make life easier for millions of people worldwide with "a building that knows what it has to do". Loxone is currently building the "Loxone Campus" on an area of 8 hectares as an "epicenter of building automation", where the topic "Create Automation" is to be made tangible for customers, partners and interested parties. Innovation, user-centered design and the company as the "best workplace for performers" play an important role for Martin.

Rafael Bittermann

Photographer & urban explorer
Rafael Bittermann works as a freelance photographer and filmmaker with a focus on lifestyle & commercial. As an "Urban Explorer" he explores the roofs and "lost places" of his hometown of Vienna and other European cities. He shows this in an impressive way on his social media channels (Instagram @rafelwien) and he also experiments with his works in the form of NFTs. Rafael is also the guitarist of the metalcore band "Achorage", which released their first record "The Fifth Wall" in 2019.

Siegfried Pöchtrager

Professor & agricultural expert
As the son of a farming family and Professor of Agricultural Sciences at BOKU Vienna, Siegi Pöchtrager has been spanning the gap between agriculture, science and society for many years and is realizing more and more that our food system will not function in its current form for much longer. As a book author and in podcasts, he not only subjects local agriculture to a thorough "reality check", but our entire society and researches new business ideas in the field of agriculture and nutrition.

Tristan Horx

Futurist, author & keynote speaker
Tristan Horx has been a Generation Y speaker on international stages since he was 24 years old. His topic is the future. Growing up in what is probably the best-known family of futurologists in Europe, Tristan experiences the perspective clash of the generation system in a natural microcosm from an early age. As the author of various publications, he focuses on visionary scenarios in his range of topics, such as the future of digitization, mobility, globalization and sustainability. Tristan Horx is also a lecturer at the SRH University in Heidelberg and at the Wieselburg University of Applied Sciences.
