In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr. Vivek Mansingh

Dr. Vivek Mansingh is a global leader, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, author, technology visionary, innovator, philanthropist and widely followed international speaker. A Stanford alumnus, he has had the privilege of working with David Packard, Bill Hewlett, Steve Jobs, Michael Dell and John Chambers. As a mentor he is in pursuit of “Mentoring A Million”. He is known for hundreds of technical papers and six US patents. He has been listed in the “National Who’s Who of the United States” in the year 2000 and has also received India’s Chanakya Innovative Leadership Award in 2012 and IT Man of the Year 2016. He is currently a General Partner at YourNest Venture Capital fund and his goal is to help create 3 global Unicorns from India in product space. He also sits on the board of several for-profit and nonprofit global organizations. Dr. Mansingh is a Gold Medalist from NIT Allahabad, obtained his Ph.D. from the Queen’s University, Canada and Executive MBA from Stanford University.

Shoaib Ahmed

Shoaib Ahmed is a pioneer of the Indian software product industry. He was the ex-President of Tally Solutions and was responsible for executing its design to dominate strategy in India. He co-created Shoper, a market leader in the retail technology space, through a bootstrap venture Vedha Automations. Shoaib is currently leading a niche consulting practice, Catalystor Skill Networks and is a founder member of iSPIRT, a volunteer coach for potential entrepreneurs from the product playground. An alumnus of IIM Calcutta and Bangalore University, Shoaib is creating markets and coaching leaders to be entrepreneurs.

Shyamal Kumar

Shyamal Kumar is the Founder & CEO of Lavelle Networks, the fastest growing Software Defined Network (SDN) upstart in Asia. Lavelle Networks has built the largest SD-WAN networks in the world from 2017 – 2020 and is also the world’s first network appliance platform, driven only using cloud native REST APIs. As a data networks product leader, and having led several platforms spanning data center, enterprise, and service provider networks, he is passionate about embracing SDN and cloud technologies to bring simplicity and performance to data networks. Shyamal believes that today’s cloud first, digital driven – enterprises can take their business anywhere, as long as the network is available. Shyamal is a graduate of BITS, Pilani and has been in the data networking space for the last 18 years leading products at Tata Elxsi, Juniper Networks, Inkra Networks, Telsima Communications, Riverstone Networks, NetContinuum and Versa Networks among other companies. He is active in several technology entrepreneurship campus courses and is passionate about software product startups.
