Adriana Richard

Student, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
Adriana Richard is a 18 year old college student studying at Shippensburg University to become an elementary school teacher. However, Adriana has also had type one diabetes since the age of 5. Although she has experienced a lot of wonderful moments in advocacy, she has also experienced a lot of heartbreak. Adriana has learned how to use her voice in different ways to help her community stand on its feet again. Adriana is excited to speak at TEDx Williamsport so she can be a voice for kids who are struggling like she once did. She knows that this is what she would have needed as a kid with T1D.

Dan Brauning

Co-Author, The Birds of Pennsylvania.
Dan Brauning moved his family to the Williamsport area from Philadelphia in 1990 to start his career with the Pennsylvania Game Commission as an Ornithologist. During this tenure, he co-authored, The Birds of Pennsylvania with Gerald McWilliams in 1992 and co-editor of The Second Pennsylvania Breeding Bird Atlas in 2012. He has been studying birds and promoting an appreciation for them for many years. He is active in his church, happily married to Marcia, and father of three song who have given us four grandchildren.

Howard Woodruff

International Public Speaker.
Dr. Howard T. Woodruff is a sought after international public speaker and expert in crisis and stress preparation and remediation. Born in Williamsport, he was one of the earliest Paramedics in the county. After answering the call to ordained ministry, he continued his service to others by serving as a chaplain to various EMS and fire agencies as well as to the Pennsylvania State Police. He served at Ground Zero and in India following the tsunami in 2004. He now speaks on and assists others in preventing stress and crises from dominating their lives. He also serves as Deputy Coroner in Lycoming County.

Lisa Longo

Small Business Owner.
Lisa is a mother & small business owner with a passion for politics. Her professional credentials include finance, strategic planning, budgeting and marketing. Lisa started her consulting firm in 1999 and offers management consulting to small and medium-sized organizations and campaigns. Strategies and tactics Lisa developed encompass how to run efficient, effective and ethical campaigns. Her Ethical Leadership© model will change our political landscape by offering a model of good governance and developing an outline for progressive public policy. Over the years Lisa has evolved from political junkie to activist. She enjoys writing, kayaking and talking public policy.

Sandra Lane

Speaker and Author.
Sandra Lane founded her company, Organization Lane, in 2010 with a goal of helping individuals release the excess in their space and life so they can focus on what matters most. Sandra is a Board-Certified Professional Organizer and Workplace Productivity Specialist. She is the author of the Amazon best-selling book, Ask the Organizer. She is a regular blogger and has contributed to numerous publications including Thrive Global and is working on a second book. Today Sandra speaks, writes, coaches and consults on all topics related to productivity, time management and organization.

Shaheem Hill

Student at Williamsport Area High School.
Shaheem is currently attending Bloomsburg University as a freshman. He has a love for sports as seen through his participation in track and field and basketball. One of his current interests are learning about the world around him. His perspective on life has been shaped on the interactions he has had. While exploring the topic of interconnectedness, he believed that he had something valuable to bring to the world based on his experiences. Being a consistent viewer of TED’s content to finally sharing his own words on the platform is a huge excitement for him. He hopes his words connect with the viewers of his talk.
