My event is incorporating the global perspective on medical technology. As it is a deep topic indeed, I have been researching, asking the doctors, and patients their opinions on our world’s increasing technology. (For example, the use of robotic surgeries, tele-medicine, and minimally invasive surgeries.) I will be providing the basic essentials we are brought up into our daily world, than I will look into the resulting factors. How will this technology help the developed world? How medical technology has a negative effect on the developing world? How is this effecting the distribution of doctors? And more. I want people to understand what our world may come to. One topic I talk about a lot is the need for doctors in Africa. With foreign doctors being pulled into the developed world, the gap between having a heathy country is becoming distant. With of these questions lingering, I hope to answer some of them.
