In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

I am from Pathumthani, Thailand. Although it was quite a small place there was an active social life and a real sense of community. I studied at Kanarat Bamrung Pathumthani School in the science and mathematics program. I am deciding to continue my study in the university in what I am interested in which is sometimes difficult for me because I need to prepare for a lot of exams but I do happy with it because it is what I want to do. Whatever the outcome is, I will not regret it. I also know that my family always supports me and encourages me to chase my dream. Especially, my mom always has my back. She has been given me a life lesson and given me positive power so that I can be a great person in society. Even though it might be hard to raise me, she always says I will always be her pride.

From Leathered U.K Spent 18 months on and off as a Broadcaster on board Radio Caroline from its ship in the North Sea during the mid-80s. A Broadcaster at Radio Nova and Energy103 in Dublin Ireland. Moved to Thailand 30 years ago: Freelanced providing occasional local audio reports for BBC 5 live , VOA and Radio Netherlands. Co Founded ‘BMAsia' with a business partner in 2002, providing background music channels for Business and hotel restaurants in Thailand, Middle East and Asia Pacific. BMAsia is a music provider in the region. Recorded numerous short interviews with people in our community, many are available as podcasts. Last year football professional Gary Stevens teamed up with our morning radio broadcaster Steve Johnston and myself as producer of the weekly podcast called Sunshine Soccer. (Available on Spotify and many other platforms) Launched The Golden Hour: a radio show that is syndicated weekly to around 80 Community and streaming radio stations around the world.
