TEDx Countdown Là Gì?
Countdown là một khởi xướng toàn cầu nhằm ủng hộ và đẩy nhanh các giải pháp cho cuộc khủng hoảng khí hậu, hành động hóa những ý tưởng và được bắt đầu từ sự kết hợp giữa TED cùng Future Stewards và những ý tưởng đáng được lan rộng và kêu gọi ảnh hưởng tích cực cho môi trường.
Mục tiêu chính của Countdown là xây dựng tương lai tốt đẹp hơn bằng cách cắt giảm được một nửa lượng khí thải nhà kính vào năm 2030 trong chặng đường đi đến một thế giới không carbon - nơi an toàn, sạch đẹp và công bằng hơn cho tất cả mọi người.

Bicky Nguyen

An Entrepreneur Pursues Sustainable Food Concept, Co-Founder at CricketONE.

Mrs. Nguyen Hong Ngoc Bich (Bicky Nguyen) Bicky Nguyen is the Co-founder - Business Development Director at CricketOne. CricketOne is the leading supplier globally of cricket ingredients, their products are sold to 15 different countries across 3 continents. Her passion is to turn cricket-based products into a daily diet to tackle climate change and promote sustainable culture. Before CricketOne, she founded another startup that implemented IoTs in agriculture to make it more predictable, optimize the use of natural resources like soil and water. For the past 7 years, Bicky's been implementing a bold yet innovative approach toward the F&B industry, she believes that small changes could lead to great transformation. The process will take time, and absolutely need everyone within the ecosystem to unite and play a relative role together, and ultimately we can avoid recurring negative consequences and strive for the better - a greener and sustainable way of living.

Dominic Scriven

Chairman of Dragon Capital. President of WildLife At Risk. Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE).

Dominic Scriven is British, graduated from Exeter University. He's moved to Vietnam and founded Dragon Capital (DC) in 1994. DC is active in investment management, capital markets, and microfinance, and runs capital in the region of 1.5B USD. He further founded Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited (Veil), which Bill Gates’ charitable foundation is an investor. He was appointed OBE by the British Queen in 2006 & awarded the Labour Medal by the Vietnamese President in 2014. His external interests range from Vietnamese art, to biodiversity and reduction of the illegal wildlife trade. He further pursued sustainable tourism by co-investing in Mango Bay Phu Quoc resort - a rustic resort that uncovers the natural beauty of Phu Quoc island, Vietnam. Vietnam is like home to Dominic, so it’s sad to see how climate change directly causes a negative impact on the prosperity of the Vietnamese. So, he's eager to educate entrepreneurs & companies on how to quantify the risk of climate change.
